I want to dance the pounds away. WHO wants to join me in a 3 week Challenge?
Hi Calorie-Count Group,
For the next few weeks I will be doing some great dance moves on my own without the help of a tape to lose a few pounds. I want to See how many pounds we all will lose if we just dance for 30 to 45 mins a day. All you have to do is post your weight, and your wasit line size. I really want to see how dance effect other people and there body types. So lets do this... This is a great workout. I did this before and i want to try it again.. Let's do this..

i usually go to all night dance parties* and can go for 6 hours lol....but i do dance in my apartment to practice. ill join!

Hummmm, Since we are starting it today.. Lets post are weight loss and inches on sunday morning or that evening, but remember to get your numbers before you eat a drop of food.. I am in for the long hall.. I love to club so i know i will be getting on fri.& sat and extra 4 hours of dance... We are all in. I will keep an update with moves that hit them abs.. If you come up with a good move that work a good body part.. Please post it...

So far the dancing for 45 mins yesterday already has my thighs burning............LOL. I really did enjoy myself dancing crazy again with my kids. Kids can come up with some of the wildest moves.

I have been doing dance workout videos for the past 3 weeks now, at least 4x a week. I have lost 8 lbs. so far! I would reccommend these DVDs to anyone...they are fun and at the same time you burn calories! My favourite instructor is Maria Forelo...I would reccommend finding DVDs with her in it.

My daughters have DDR. Does anyone know how many calories you can burn in 30 minutes? I would love to try dancing some LBS away.
Yeah... Any of it can be used.. Tai is a way of dance.. It is a art.. Just like my hip hop poppin and lockin it is all dance moves.. Poppin and Lockin tones the body.. Because at one point you are moving with slow lock and poppin movements, and then you bust a move and go crazy... I love it.... So you can use anything as long as its fun.. Because there are some people who can't dance..
Managed ten minutes - but in all fairness I was up at 5.30 and have been working all day.
Thats cool that you pop and lock Lynn =D iv been going to raves for about 10 years and never got into any of the liquid or anything but was always interested in those who popped and locked or breakdanced. I just do my own thing though. I dont exzctly practive my moves for the next party but im always trying to improve =]
Yeah...... I don't even see why i got this fat. I use to be on a dance team in high school, and i did that for over 4 years.. But i loved to dance, and i really love pop lock and drop it.. That is a rap... Ok.. When i hear that song rap what ever you want to call it.. I have fun... My husband see me move to that song and go nuts.... Watch me do that dance 56 pounds lighter and he will kill me.. But i love to do new dance style..
Count me in have been doing that a little anyway now I will time it for atleast 30 min if not more. It's great to dance with my kids to Confessions on a dance floor. MADONNA and Gwen Stefani make it easy to dance for 45 min. Yay I start tomorrow

Hey ladies! I got about 15 minutes in on Monday , but I intend to step it up today!!
15 mins is great... Just as long as you are trying to do a little it's all right.. I feel great about mines. Before the rain came in.. I did what my mom call the Lynn hustle.. Because i had to move fast to get right out of the door into the rain..
SO i came into the house.. Hopping around and dancing to a tune in my head.. I got a load of clothes in the washer and was hopping right out of the door. Not a dance but i move fast like it is a dance.. I got 15 mins of in today too...
Ok and here is something for you ladies who are with me..
Dancing for 15 mins Cardio burns 100calories... This is only for 15 mins of dancing.. I got this from my mom list of things you can do to burn calories for 15mins.
