Want to get down to driver's license weight lol

Quote  |  Reply
Well I got my driver's license not too long ago, and I'll be 17 in August.  When they asked me my weight when I was getting it I felt rushed so I just said whatever came to my mind.  I said 145.  Problem is, I weigh around 160 lmao. (I'm 5'7").  Then afterwards I kind of thought that was crazy (what I said) but I feel like I don't look much different from when I was 150, so whatever.  On this site it says I should get to 140, but I would really like 145.

Does everyone lie on their licenses?

I had to get a new license to show my correct address due to new voting rules in AZ - anyway I actually lied and added 10 lbs to my weight
lmao...i did the opposite. at the time i thought i was around 120(i was accualy 123 to be exact) and when they asked me i said 140! i thought they might check up on it or something and i didnt want them to say, " accually you way less then you said" so i decided to go over:(
Geez! I wish I could lie over!
Getting to my license weight it my goal too!  (and also because at that weight I'll be at a healthy BMI).

I haven't been the weight on my license for at least 10 years.  At one point for a renewal, I indicated that the weight was no longer correct and needed to be increased, and the clerk said, "oh, forget it - it really doesnt' matter anyway", and processed it without any change.  I'm wondering why it's on there if it doesn't matter...
My BMI now is like exactly 25.  Not that great.
I just checked mine to see what I must have weighed when I went to get it and it doesn't have weight up there. (NC)
I'm pleased to report that I think all 3 of the States I've lived in didn't put weight on the license!
Well this is new information to me.  I need to look this up....  Anyways, I live in Illinois.  Thanks Jesse White!

Maybe in states with not a lot of crime it's not necessary lol...
Well considering I've lived in NY, Virginia & Florida I can't imagine that's the case.  ;)
Wow, I'm glad you don't have to list weight on PA licenses.  I would definitely fib.  I think it is dumb to have to list that.  What good is it going to do?  If it is there to help the police or whoever you need to show the license to identify you better, I really don't think it will help.  Most people are pretty bad at estimating somone else's weight.  I think most men are especially bad at guessing women's weight.  My fiance guessed I weighed 140 back when I refused to reveal my weight (I got over that) and I actually weighed about 185 at that time (bless his heart lol).
lol! i lied on my job application. i work at a veterinary clinic, but i'm just a clean up girl. i put down 118 even though i was more 114, because i knew i'd gain weight, and now i'm like 122! but i doubt they really care
Well...mine was accurate about 8 months ago.

Yes! I always say 150 - which is my ideal weight - which was true about 2 years ago...but now I'm in the 170's! Wishful thinking I guess. Now I want to smack myself for wanting to be 135 when I was 150 - you never appreciate how you look until too late....argh
I can't understnad why you'd need weight on a driver's liscense and especially not on a job application.

But, I'd probably fib too, if I had too.
Yep, I lied big and bad... I put down 140, and I haven't weighed that since high school.  I was 185 when I wrote that down, the gal behind the counter kind of raised her eyebrows when she typed it into the computer, but I thought "I dare you to say something.."

I did not lie on my license at the time I had the picture taken.  But here in GA we can renew by mail for 10 years.

At renewal time, I was at my highest weight which was 117lbs more than my license.  I liked the picture so of course I renewed.

That being said on more than one occasion someone has taken a double take when looking at my license and in some occasions commented about how much I changed.

So yes - many people lie.  But you can only get away with it to a point.

"you never appreciate how you look until too late....argh"

True that.
Well, when I went to get my state I.D. last year, I said I weight 140 and the lady was like "120? Okay :D" it was nice of her~
Yeah I live in Texas they dont post the weight on there...
I don't think I've EVER been the weight on my license! LOL! And NOW I can't even believe what it says! I mean, I don't even WANT to weigh that -- I think it's ridiculous. I'm 5'6" and it says 120. Makes me laugh.
