i want to eat a cow

Quote  |  Reply

so i woke up this morning, got my coffee and apple, and about 30 minutes after eating my apple, was starving and had some oatmeal. i was still hungry so a little later i had a small bowl of cereal and milk. this totals to about 500 cals, and i really dont want to eat anymore before i work out b/c i hate feeling full while i work out. im going to work out around 2:30-3 but have to work on a paper until then. however, i am still so hungry. i am very proud of myself for not ruining my day but i can't stop thinking about food! as the title suggests, i feel like i could eat a cow. distractions and motivation are very welcome haha

If you are starving eat something. Make yourself a huge salad or something. For the future you might want to have something more filling and nutritional then cereal even if it is with milk.

Eat some protein!  A hardboiled egg, lean ham or turkey or even low fat cheese, a small serving of nuts, low fat cottage cheese, mushrooms or beans.  That little bit of protein will really help!

500 calories between waking up and 2.30 isn't enough!  That's why you're hungry.  You SHOULD eat more, you are legitimately hungry.  Unless you woke up 3 mins ago.

im with madamq, definately eat some protein.  ive never enjoyed traditional breakfast foods, so i dont like eggs, but i always make sure to have either a piece of meat or some peanut butter in the morning.  protein keeps me satisfied.

I agree with the above posters, have some protein.  It will help with your cravings right now.

Almonds!

thanks everyone! protein is a good idea! i get to work out a little earlier, im going now yay!
