Just want some friends :) seniors in highschool?
Hey everyone, i just want to have like a group of ppl to talk to around my age so i have something to look forward to when i get on here! I do not have an ED, im just an average teen living life as a senior in highschool i eat healthy now and every single day, sometimes i have bad thoughts but i fight through whatever hardships i face :). I count my calories, i eat all the food groups. Im just here for toning, and maybe shedding a few lbs but nothing major. So, let me know if your interested in being buds or starting a group!

hey! im a senior.. and i pretty much seem to be in the same boat as you guys, i just want to be healthy, and be in good shape
oh yayyy so that makes four of us so far! so lets start a discussion...first topic (until more join!) how about...how many calories do you normally consume and how many to you work off at the gym!?
i try to eat around 1500 calories a day, i honestly dont know how many i work off cause i dont really go to the gym, i work out at home, and i have dance 6 days a week, so i count those practices as my work out.. cause i get my ass kicked haha
same! on an average day i eat 1500 sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more :) i used to work out 6 days a week but now with the winter its become like 3-4 :/ and it makes me so sad (im not allowed to drive in the snow so i cant drive to the gym) BUT im gonna try to make my parents take me up more :) cuz i loveee workin out! p.s. i dance too! but not much anymore
I love working out too, when im not in my competition dance season I have a personal trainer, which is super fun, cause she helps me think of sweet new work outs, that sucks that you cant drive in the snow!! i would DIE!!
yeah well...im not really the safest or best driver haha, and thats what my boyfriends for :) and my best friends haha they drive me everywhere and they really dont mind because im never outta the way to pick up. but awh i always wanted a personal trainer but i've learned my own workouts from observing others :P
Hey everyone! I'm 19 and I'm not exactly a senior anymore, but I just started college this fall, so I don't feel like im TOO much older than ya'll
. I think this is a great idea. It seems a lot of the forums on here are on both sides of the extremes. I'm glad there is some people on here that are average girls just trying to be healthy :-).
I don't really count calories (used to). Its too hard to estimate the calories of the food served in the cafeteria. Plus, when I calculate I tend to eat right up to my limit whether I'm hungry or not. So I decided it would be better to simply eat when I'm hungry. But, I guesstimate about 1200-2000, it varies a lot.
I like working out too :-). I try to switch it up between 30 minutes of either elliptical or bike. Plus I do weight lifting, which I LOVE!
I'm 15, recovering from an ED but thst doesnt have to rule my life! :) I'd be glad to talk to some other older teens, seeing as I spend quite a lot of time on here too xD
I dont particularly count my calories, butI like to plan out roughly what I eat. I consume like at least 2000 a day but I'm aiming for over, although I'm sometimes below. And I like to dance around and do a bit of yoga as my exercise ! :D xxx
I just graduated this year but I'm starting college next year in the Spring so I wouldn't count myself as a College student or High School student yet.
well hello friends! and yes thats fine if you all join! i was just trying to get a ballpark range of ppl gathered for a group because i was kinda tired of always wanting to post in a group and never have one :-P. haha sooo
berrykiss012-i sorta workout the same as you! i alternate what i do...always incorporate some sort of run (sprints or just a normal run) plus another form of cardio (usually the elliptical, bike, or stepper) and then i lift and do legs, arms, and ab exercises!

hi so to reply to the topic..i eat about 1500 calories a day. Right now I'm playing powderpuff (flag football) so I have practice for that everyday after school for about an hour and a half. Our game is on wednesday and then its over but on monday i start indoor track. I'll have track practice 6 days a week for 2 hours (including a sprinting workout and weightlifting). And I may go to the gym once in a while if I feel like i havent done enough at practice, but thats rare! When I got to the gym, I usually warm up by jogging on the track, then I go on the bike or do some jogging/sprinting/walking interval sets and then i do crunches and use the weight machines and free weights. i haatee the treadmill and running long distances in general (im a sprinter for track), so i try to stay away from that. I know its good for you, but oh well.
well arent you just the little athlete! haha i cheer and dance...nothing too vigorous but thats why i workout everyday :)
i love turning on random music and just jumping about my room tbh :)

hey so im new. Im a sophomore, but i hope thats okay:) So i lost 20 pounds in the pasty year and have been maitaing-well gained like 5-since august. im 5'4, about 130. So im kind of trying to drop a little. But if i start exercising a little more often and make sure i eat healthy and stuff i think they will come off. but im really up for a group like this..sounds fun.
