So I am needing some guidance and need to know the occupational term for the kind of health professional I am looking for.

What I want is someone to help me figure out a meal plan that will maximize my workout/weightloss. Like I know that I want to burn fat and build muscle, but I am not sure of what proportions of what to eat to achieve that.

Anyone know?

Thanks.

I'd love to help....need stats and your daily exercise if there is any..also a sample of what you are eating currently..
A nutritionist can help you make a food plan based on what you need to be healthy. I follow a mp based on exchanges like on the ada and it adds up to my daily calorie needs. It is also devided into 3 meals/3snacks and a balance of carbs/protein/fat
I agree that a nutritionist can help.  If you could find a personal trainer who is also a certified nutritionist, that would be wonderful, but I don't know if there is such an animal.

Thanks all. I was thinking it was a nutritionist but wasn't sure if they were good for weight loss and muscle building, or just general healthy eating habits.
