I've want to be a lawyer since I was 4. Cause I had always dreamed of going to Yale.

But now, I guess my goals are more realistic. Even if I were able to get into Yale, I wouldnt be able to afford it.

What are your unrealistic goals, and what are your realistic ones?

Well as for the unrealistic goals... I wanted to move to neverland with Peter Pan and learn how to fly... Thats pretty unlikely. Besides I dont really care about neverland anymore, flying would be lovely though. Thats why my dream is to get some money and then start hang-gliding. Would be perfect!

And the realistic ones...I'd want to be either a nurse or an animator, working at Disney or some other big studio. And not necessarily just an animator, but any job invovling making movies or theatre would be lovely, like sewing costumes, make up, filming and the list goes on...

childrens doctor, peadiatrician or however it's spelt

When I was younger, I wanted to be one of the people that work in Disney Land and dress up as the different characters - me being able to pretend I was Sleeping Beauty, and to be a child's hero. How much fun?!

But realistically, I want to be an art curator. Only 2 and a half more years, then I'll have my gap year, then my masters, then I'll be there! Exciting stuff Laughing

Unrealistic dream for me would be to be a dancer. I love dancing, and I like learning new moves. >w< But alas, I'm not confident enough nor am I good enough of a dancer to go through with it.

Realistic dream that I'm pursuing as we speak is to be an ESL/EFL teacher. I want to teach English to foreign kiddos in various countries. I want to eventually teach in China, Thailand, Turkey, and *maybe* Japan.  If I find out that this isn't the career path I want to pursue, I would like to be a nurse. :3

Unrealistically, I have always wanted to write a best-selling novel. Ever since I was little, that was my dream. It always will be.

Realistically, I would still like to work in the writing/literature field. Maybe as a journalist. If this turns out not to be the right career path for me, I'd like to work in food service as a resaurant manager or chef. Maybe open my own restaurant.

I did want to be a fashion designer for a time, though I know I have no patience for the work it takes.  I'd much rather buy beautiful clothing than make it.

Realistically, I want to be a psychiatrist.  They make good money, on average, even with less than one year of work experience in the field.  THe human mind is such an interesting thing.

Hehe full time Disneyland job WOULD be fun!!

I've always wanted to be a primary school teacher ever since I can remember and still do - I even do volenteer helping at schools in my spare time I love it so much Smile

i think i want to be a nutritionist.

As far as unrealistic goals go, I've wanted to be a movie star or on Broadway since i was about 5. I would also love to be a fashion designer or movie directer.

Realistic goals, I'm taking a break from college (bc with two small children it's hard) but I am 20 hours away from my bachelors degree in Theater..I am going to turn it into a double major with Psychology then eventually I will get a masters in Psychology. I am also hopefully starting school  next semester to be a CNA and if that works out I will also get my associates in Nursing. I'm one of those weird people who love school and have like 10 different careers in mind and want to do every single one of them...lol.

art teacher :) or an art museum curator!

End of next year I'll be graduating from law school, so I can tell you what I'm GOING to be (it's a lot cheaper in my country, although the starting salary is also less). Honestly, though, I still don't know. When I was tiny I wanted to be an archaeologist, and when I was older I wanted to be a writer. Now, I'm considering teaching after I have kids. I dunno, I'll have to report back on where I ended up.

Tattoo artist. But I've been trying to break into the industry for a few years now (Curse you tattoo shows!!)

Rock star actually requres musical talent, which I'm limited on.

Video game creator takes mathmatical/computer skills, which I lack (Napoleon Dynamite voice: video game companies only want guys with SKILLS! Gawd!)

I don't have a stick high enough in my colon to be an artist (Took 4 years of art classes, next time some fruit with a scarf tells me my piece 'lacks direction' while they fawn over some modern art crap of a circle and a line, I'm going to lynch them with their metrosexual scarf)

Haha dw! I have a friend who studied art, and her thing was sculpture. Her lecturers just couldn't understand why anyone would want to sculpt real things. Reality was so passe.

I'll find somewhere to use this quote if it kills me.

Unrealistic? Writer.

Realistic? I dunno... psychiatrist probably.

unrealistic for me would be an actor or model.. i'd love to do both, but i suck at acting and being infront of a large group of people :P

i've always wanted to be a phsychiatrist or phsychologist or some sort of counselor.. i want to help people improve their lives. only, right now i'm sorta not sure.. i'm only a freshman in high school, but lately i've been thinking i might end up doing something with math (but not science!) since it's my best subject and i like it :]

Realistically, I want to be a cardiologist

But, unrealistically, I want to be a full-time writer. Haha, not going to happen though. x]

I can't help but snigger at people who demean contemporary and modern art Kiss

When I was younger I wanted to be a singer (realized my voice sucked. ha ha.) then it was wanting to be an author I've been writing since I was 4, then when I was about 8 I wanted to act. Did some theater plays and the such, but then other things took over in life and I kind of let the dream go. The field has way too much competition, not only that but with my past of an ED I know the pressures of HOLLYWEIRD would have gotten me down.

Realistic: I would like to go to school to be a dietitian because of my past ED I grew a strong love for wanting to get into that field to help girls who have the problems I once experienced and struggle with on and off. I think it would just feel so rewarding. Now if only I could get some money to go to school for it...:P

I've got to admit that I haven't got a clue.

I'm having loads of careers talks at school and they haven't enlightened me at all! (: Though I'm quite interested in psychology, graphics, dietetics etc

Hmmm... unrealistically I've always wanted to be one of those high-risk explorers, like the guys who scale the unnamed peaks on Alaska or the guys in the recent National Geographic who got to visit the 112 degree cave with giant 30-foot crystals (=O So jealous!).

Realistically... Either a model, an investment consultant, or a neurologist. I have wide interests =D Then after I retire comfortable, I want to open a massive pastry shop with exotic coffees and hot chocolates. Smile And never shave again.
