No I'm not being negative. Just like everyone I want to feel good about myself and my body. And through weight loss I think I can gain the confidence and be able to find myself through this process. How do you stay motivated?
Don't hate yourself. We all feel like that once in awhile. I also want to feel good about myself and body but I think I'll have to work also on my inner self confidence not just on the weight. It's very hard to stay motivated but as they say if you fall off the wagon just get back on. Good luck. Stay in touch.

My motivation has honestly been this website. It has taught me one very important thing. Successful weight loss takes time! I've been going for a year and a half and I'm still not done.
Also, step on the scale for sure. At this point I wouldn't do it every day, because weight fluctuates so much anyways. Maybe twice a week. Take your measurements! The scale wont move every time and yep, sometimes it will even go up! That's okay with me now, because my measurements have always crept down... albeit, very slowly, but they are down non the less. You'll feel good about it, most importantly. Above all, how you feel (healthy, happy) should be your priority.
I wish you well. Why don't you join our weekly weight loss forum? Keeps us accountable and we are good support for each other. It's in this Group.
Have a great day!
