i want to lose enough weight so that when i sit down i don't have a roll (or two) of chub between my chest and lap.

 Stillwatergirl-

You always want the right parts to have a little "shake" Innocent

If you know what I mean.

What a great thread!

.. so that I can look in the mirror and love what I see, and hopefully from there I start to love who I am.

.. so that I can reclaim my I-wont-throw-them-away-they-fit-me-once-jeans from my husband who's stolen them and uses them for gardening in :)

.. so that when I go swimming I sink like all my friends!  (Although I really do love floating around without even trying... but I will love sinking 100 times more).

I want to lose weight in just the right healthy way so that I can go down two dress sizes and stay there the rest of my life! I am a size 16 in the top and 14-16 in the bottom. I want to get back into my 12's and mediums!

Inside I'm lean, sexy, strong, vital.  I want the outside to match.  Want to look younger than my age. Want to look as good as a woman can who doesn't get cosmetic surgery/botox and the like. Want to feel sexier for my husband. Another 25-35 pounds to go.

...So my thighs wont rub together when I walk, so my husband can stop asking me why I never wear shorts. (its sad when you get rug burn on the inside of your legs from the friction!)

It sounds like your husband is really lucky to a wife who values herself so much. :)

Great thread!

I want to lose enough weight because I remember how fantastic I felt about myself when I have lost it before.

I want to be healthy and like what I see when I look in the mirror in a great pair of jeans and T, walk through the shopping mall and be compareable to all the other girls there, dance and not feel like I shouldn't be entitled to be on a dance floor, flirt, be noticed and most of all, be the person on the outside that I feel like I am on the inside.

Hmm, guess there are a few there! lol

walk around in a bikini and not be self consious

have people come to me for advice on how to be a healthier being

not have wrinkles in my forehead when i make certain faces :)

So that I can actually wear a close fitting shirt without having to wear a very uncomfortable and painful girdle!!!

So that I can wear shorts to the gym, do stretches in pilates and not look in the mirror and be horrified at how the fat is folding/falling/squishing.

So that I can run into every girl that smirked and asked me what happened (yes, some girls have been rude enough to ask exactly this) and have them beg me for my secrets of looking so amazing.

To be able to stop telling people what I will do and be able to say thank you when they notice it at last.

To be able to try stuff on in the fitting room and come out to look at myself in the 360 and not be upset.

To be able to have my 6 pack back, and wear nothing but tight spandex pants and a sports bra again without any extra meat, and being toned ALL over again. No feeling like it in the world.

Oh my poor dear. How old are you? I remeber being teased about being "pleasingly plump" when I was young and that made me unhappy and eat even more. Who are these cruel people?
