I want to lose 35 pounds. Maybe more? See when I get there.

I put my goal date as april. Sooner would be nice. Might happen to.


See, if you want to lose weight, work 7 hour shifts at Mc Donalds. Burns calories and after making a million orders of french fries, food cravings are gone. Bad side, though, is I get 50% off on break and therefor tend to have big macs for lunch.

I'm 187 lbs now, and I want to lose 47 lbs by next september at the outside. I'm predicted to get there next august, but I'd like to get there as soon as possible. Heh, maybe by that time I'll have got the hang of kilos like a good metric-user (It's just the weight that throws me).

I'm 18 and 5'6". I currently weigh around 185. ( I think?)

I'd like to lose 10-15 pounds by Christmas. I'd like to lose about 50 overall. Hopefully I'll reach the 130s by June or so of 2009.

In the past 4 years, I've gone from 175 to 137 pounds. However, I'm only 5'4", and even though I'm a swimmer and I have a lot of muscle, I'd ideally like to lose another 10 pounds, sometime around the new year.

I'd like to lose 15 pounds by the end of the year, which would put me at about 140 pounds.

After that, I'd like to lose another 20 pounds, in a time period I'm not certain of yet.  120 pounds at 5'2" sounds pretty reasonable to me.

I want to lose twenty pounds. It will put me at 130, and while I'd like to weigh a little less than that, it's my primary goal for right now. I'd like it to be by Christmas but it'll be harder once I start exercising more and gaining muscle weight. And I live in Michigan, so it will probably start snowing in a month. I think the hardest part isn't the food, but it's my girlfriend discouraging me from exercising.

I'm trying to keep a healthy weight and maybe lose 5lbs so I'd be at 120.  It's hard because I'm homeschooled and around food all day.  Also I only exercise twice a week so I'm trying to exercise more often.

ideally i'd like to lose 10-14lbs to put me at 133-137lbs and make my BMI go down from 21.7 to 19.6.

I dont really mind how long it takes but i want to have lost it by march '09

I dont sound overweight and i'm not, i just want to lose my stomach fat and the fat on the top of my arms and legs.

Hey guys...

I'm 5'8" and unfortunately about 145. I was around 135 before I started working out three times a week, which baffles me. I know that muscle weighs more than fat and all, but I feel like my jeans are fitting tighter. My diet also hasn't changed much. I'm confused :(

I don't know what I should be doing for this, but I really really want to make my butt/upper thighs look better, its my primary concern. If anyone has any advice for that, I'd really appreciate it.

I've been using the elliptical (high incline and resistance), running on the treadmill, and using a squat machine at the gym. I still have that gross, dimply, appearance though :(

Don't let anyone pressure you out of exercise, if its something your girlfriend is persistent upon, there's definitely an underlying issue regarding appearance in your relationship. If she's overweight (or even just perceives herself to be) and you get in good shape, she likely is worried that you will want to meet "better, more beautiful, thinner, etc." women, that is so emphasized in our culture.

im about 5'8 1/2 and i weigh around 120 right now and i want to lose 15 pounds by january 5th so be like 105ish

30lbs, by bikini time (june), so I can take of the winter jumpers and bask in the glow of self gratification. Yay.

 Well june is what the computer says.I don't know if I'm that patient...

well right now i am about 5'6" or 5'7" and i weight 128 lbs.

I really want to get down to at least 120 lbs, preferably 115/117 lbs, by the end of December.

About 10 lbs...i think i can do it!

I am hoping that i will have a mini six pack at that weight [haha dont laugh k?] b/c i think that'd be pretty awesome. I can aready see the top 2 and kinda 4. yay   :P

meaghanc;  at 105lbs at 5'8 and half, you'd have a BMI of 15.8.  This is in the 9th percentile of people your age - anything under 20% is pretty dangerous. You're the perfect weight already. 

 

I'm the same height as you, but I currently weigh 145-9lbs, which is a bit over the ideal weight, but not *that* much.  My end goal is 126 - the end of the HEALTHY range for 5'8.  Admittedly, I'm a bit older than you - 17.

i want to lose 10lbs, by march at the latest, i'm going to france you see, lol

i dont really believe all that bmi crap so yahh lol but i changed my goal to 110 so thats a bit better i suppose. thanks for your concern :)
