want to lose 10lbs still bf
hi i am 140lbs and 5,2 with a three year old and an infant ( 7 weeks) i started at 130 and gained 20lbs. i am breast feeding and feel great
but am still flabby. i have been exercising an hour a day and have put on weight??
Any ideas??

I'm right with you! I'm trying to lose the last 10-15 pounds (not pregnancy weight but additional weight I gained before pregnancy) and am still breastfeeding. I've plauteaued at 132 for weeks now and despite adding an extra 30 minute workout to my routine 2 weeks ago, the scale hasn't budged. This past week, I cut my calories slightly and now my milk supply is suffering (but I'm sick, too, so that might have something to do with it).
I have read that breastfeeding women tend to hang onto the last 10 pounds or so. I'm not sure if this is true or not but I've heard many women agree that they couldn't lose all the weight until they were finished breastfeeding.
I think the best bet is to keep your calorie intake up and concentrate on the workouts. Are you eating enough? 300-500 calories over third trimester calories is recommended. I'm 5'2"/5'3" and I eat 1900-2100 a day in order to maintain my supply. If I go below that (as I've found this week), my milk supply is literally cut in half.
hi, i think i think i am eating enough as i have enough milk. i think i look good but i don't like the number on the scale. 139 today. i never had boobs b/f so maybe some of the weight is from that? i have good musles as i am a runner, as soon as Logan is one i will put them in my trk and run again. i can't wait. i have always weighed more than i'd like 130 i'd rather be 120 but i am ok with 130 NOT 140.
i have had an ed before and thought about how easily i could lose 10 lbs the wrong way but thought abot my kids and didn't![]()

hi i am in the same boat as you are. before i got pregnant, i was about 125-130. now i'm at 137 four months post partum. i'm trying really really hard to lose these last few pounds but its pretty difficult. i stopped breast feeding one month ago but that didn't change my weight much. for the past two weeks, i've been doing the zone diet. that helped me lose 2-3 pounds.
