Will anyone else have this movie on for the next 24 hours?..... Or is it just me?

I think I got you beat. I own it and watched it on Thanksgiving Day after our meal!  I love that story.  It is my all time favorite Christmas movie to watch, but of course, I start watching it on Thanksgiving.

My family and I have this rule that we are only allowed to watch it on Christmas Eve and Christmas haha. So we try to get our fill of it in 24 hours. BUT I would own it in a heartbeat if it werent for the rule... lol

One of my co-workers said that she could see the leg lamp in my frontroom.

I almost bought the Leg Lamp a few times.

My family just got done watching A Christmas Story!
I watch it once every year. I think that movie is adorable,  but once is definitely enough for me.

I almost bought a leg lamp as a gag gift for a friend.... But those things are pricey for something someone will NEVER display lol

I think the movie is hilarious. My parents hate it though, which is annoying because my siblings and i get snide comments and "this movie is meaningless" statements. I could really care less if there is no divine underlying message. There are enough Christmas movies like that. The humor in this movie is what makes it great.

I made my parents watch it Christmas morning two years ago and they had never seen it. I was surprised given how old it is but they didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. I downloaded it last year and watched it and it made me happy. This year... it did nothing. I just got annoyed watching it because I wasn't in a Christmas mood at all...

I have been watching it since 8pm last night...LOL and I'll be watching it over and over all day....

for 2 reasons....

One...my room mate HATES it. and annoying him is a MAJOR bonus. :D

and TWO....because I love it.....

Saw part of it last night at Grandma's, flipping between that and the same Jesus movie Univision shows every Christmas Eve. I would like to catch the whole thing at some point today but I doubt we'll have it on for the whole 24 hour marathon.

It's been on in the background of at least one room since 8pm last night. I haven't sat down and watched it all the way through. No matter though. I could recite the entire thing from beginning to end.

Several years ago I purchased the PINK NIGHT MARE SHIRT IN RED for my son.  He was a Freshman in college then now a Junior.  It is funny to him that his friends on campus don't get the shirt and the professors just love it!
