current weight 179.0 on 10/23/08

well I weighed in at 176 that is up 2.2 lbs from last week.it is actually a lot better than I thought! it is ttom and I am having problems going to the bathroom,I know TMI but it is true! I haven't really retained water during my period in a long time but this month it's crazy I can't get my rings off my fingers! I am not even worrying about my weight this week,now next week if I'm not back to norm then I will be frantic and obsessive,lol! I did not do so well this weekend but I was not eating more than maintenance so I am certain this gain is not fat so that is a relief but still when I don't see the #'s on the scale going down I get upset,I am actually handling this pretty good! CONGRATULATIONS to all of you who lost some this week!

Okay. No loss this week. Boo. But maybe by next weigh in I'll be down 2 pounds. who knows? I've been kinda slack lately but am trying to get back on track.

 Briefly looked at the website and i'm not sure how healthy it is either...and 3 weeks is a long time to go without weight loss. I think your better off monitoring your calories, cycling calories and working out. But keep us up to date on how it works for you.

o.k. I'm fricking hungry! I have been snacking all day and can't seem to stop wanting to eat!!! I still have enough calories to have a decent dinner but I'll have to go to bed right away or I'll be hungry again right away!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE HORMONES!!!!!!! IWANT CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI no loss for me this week  still 160...

This week I visited Orlando with my family, 5 parks in 5days horrible food options, I was only able to exercise 3 of the 5 days, so no surprises. And I did try to plan and eat a protein bar instead of lunch  but ended hungry for diner and ate some not great choices, like  the eggplant sandwich at the cheesecake factory.... any way hope next week is better.

Candie, today half of my calories are from snacks: light cheese strings, cashews, light cheese wedges with fat free turkey breast, light vanilla ice cream sandwich, about 600 cal just in snacks! Think it's TTOM and the freezing cold outside. Anyway, just to tell you I eat Lindt 70% dark chocolate everyday. I stock on the stuff, I usually eat slooowly 20 g for dessert at lunch and another 20 g after dinner (20g=110 cal). It's a great mood booster and calms my anxieties. Maybe you can try this fix in a day like today. Hang in there, just drink water after dinner if hunger gets to you again.

Well, last week I was at 155.2 and today I weighed in at 157 which is slightly discouraging, but I'm pretty sure it will be back off next week. I had a midterm today that stressed me out all week, so I'm hoping to get back on track and see those numbers go down! I can't believe Christmas is coming up so soon...

healthmd Thank you for the tip on chocolate! I love chocolate so I would eat it all the time if I could! I will definately try that idea!

Today I weighed in at 174.6 so that is proof that I am retaining water.I hate the fluctuations but I know I'm about 174.0 so I don't get too frustrated by them.I go to my Dr. today so I will see how much I have lost since the last time I was there.I think it is around 20 lbs.

I hope everyone is going to stay on track this week,Thanksgiving is one week away (well 6 days) so we have to stay on track in order to "fall off the wagon" on the Holiday!

 I am going to the in-laws house and some of them haven't seen me since last Christmas I was 30 lbs heavier then so I am going to feel real good about myself!  does anyone have any big plans for Thanksgiving?

I weighted in the same 153.6.  But I started a new exercise regime so we will see how it goes.  I am splitting my time between first my inlaws then we are going to my family's house.  It is a huge gathing for my family seeing that we are so big, and it is the opposite for my husband and his family, they are a very small group and they fit one table!!!  In my house, ALL the food is displayed on one table and we say grace then it is like a buffet style and everyone eats through out the house.  It is really cozy and fun...I love Thanksgiving!

Congratulations to everyone who is doing well.  I unfortunately have had 2 surgeries since we started this and my weight is crazy because of swelling.  I did weigh yesterday and I am at 160 which is not a bad gain since we started but I am finally able to work out agan and plan to be less next week.

Candie, hope dark chocolate works for you. I  don't think I could have gone through this weight loss thing without my chocolate moment every night. It does wonders for my emotional well being. Wink

Thanksgiving will be just the 4 of us at home this year and Cirque du Soleil Wintuk at night. Looking forward to it, my daughter comes back from college tomorrow and she stays for a week! It will be a treat for all of us. Next Thursday, I'll weigh in first thing in the morning before all the cooking and eating starts. I'll try to reduce portions, since meal is only for 4. and I don't want to have all the yummy leftover food tempting me for days. I'll do just turkey breast instead of the whole bird. Any suggestions to avoid disaster? I love stuffing, does anyone have a low calorie recipe for it? And how can you have yummy yams without marshmallows?

 

 

 

So I finally stepped on the scale this morning...Tongue out

and it read 150

I just fell off the wagon, past three weeks, and did a little, but ate a lot, and still managed to maintain my current weight of 71 kgs, when I have to be 65 by Christmas. I started the diet again today, and am currently feeling so miserable about hogging so much these past few days :(

Really, soemtimes all i feel like doing all the time is eat, eat and eat, even if i'm not hungry. And then I don't feel like exercising, and popcorn seems like a useless snack, and the bar of snickers just doesnt stop calling out to me. :( I've even stopped logging what i eat in CC, and havent visited the site for the past three weeks. Oh this feels horrid.

I just got through my first week and am happy with the results.  I know it is mostly water weight but I don't care. I am running the Turkey Trot on Thursday morning which is a 5 mile pretty hilly run.  I try to do it every Thanksgiving to burn calories before the big meal.

augenblick, I'm running a turkey trot too! I'm so excited.  This will be my 3rd year in a row of doing it.  I love it because it makes me feel less guilty about thanksgiving dinner.

I guess I will weigh in on wednesday morning for next week since I'll be out of town wednesday night-sunday.

I just can't seem to stop eating! I think I'll be up a couple lbs next weigh in!

 Wow  that is great, it has taken me about five months to shed about 30. the sad part is that I didn't think I was as big as I was until I saw some July 4th pictures.  It truely was a shock.  Keep up the good work and you'll be there before you know it, because you are definitely doing something right.

And Candi,   focus on your goal and believe in yourself.   you can do it.
