I am so in! This is exactly the time I was planning to have lost all the weight by. I am 21 years old, 5'4, and started at 240 lbs in March. I have come a long way and can't wait to reach my goal weight! I have been losing a steady 3 lbs per week..I thought it would slow down at some point..but it hasn't and I'm not complaining :o) I have plateaued a couple times...and actually am right now! But I end up catching up with that 3 lbs per week because the week after a plateau I usually lose 4 or 5 lbs. Mostly because of TTOM and water weight. Anyway..that's all from me for now. Just ask if you have any questions! :o)

I'm in!  My name is Melanie.  I am going to be 30 in 18 days (YUCK).  I have 2 awesome sons who are trying to help me get active.  I have been a dieter on and off since I had my first son 10 yrs ago.  I want to lose faster than the goal date but I have a feeling the maintenance part will take alot of work for me plus the holidays in between may hamper the efforts a little haha.  Guess I'll check in on friday the 12th.

my stats: 25 yrs old, 5'4.5. started at 200 beginning of the year. lost 15lbs and gained a couple back. would like to overall get down to 160 as well as lose inches and tone all over. i've hit a plateau but i'm incorportating sculpting classes to see if that makes a difference and committing to a set calorie level each day. i believe that this time frame is significant to reach my goal weight.

Count me in please!  This is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for!  My previous attempts at weight loss have all had one thing in common - no buddies and support!  Not that my friends and family aren't supportive, but it helps if you have likeminded people on a mission with you ;-)

Ok, as for me my details are as follows...in 24, 5'3" and I think I am currently about 147lbs.  The reason I am unsure is because I have been away from home for work for 6 weeks and have not had any scales.  When I left I was 154 but I know I have lost weight because all of my clothes are fitting me better.  147 is an estimate, I could be more or less.  I am going home again (which is Manchester, England btw) on Sunday so will weigh in then and update accordingly.

I'm 28, married, no kids yet, and enjoy running.  I've been very slowly breaking the cycle of binge eating and am trying to get down a a low/normal weight for my height (5'6") while beginning to train for a February marathon.  I'm trying to take the last few pounds off slowly (2-4 per month) and I would love the accountability and support.  Count me in!

I'm 53.  Been on CC since January.  Was all the way down to 115 but put 6 pounds back on over the summer....ughhh....hoping to get down to 110.  I am 5'2".  My biggest problem - I like having a few glasses of wine on the weekends.  I can do very well calories wise all week and then blow it all on the weekedn.  Such a bummer. Christmas is a good goal.   Count me in!

Hi! Great idea, I like the idea of a small group.  I'm 26, 5'6" and have already lost 26 lbs in the past two years.  I've had a major plateau lately and, seeing as I have had 5 friends get married this year (3 more to go!), I feel like every wknd is another event/party/etc.  I'm _trying_ to figure out a way to make it through the weekends without backsliding, but also to avoid the really crazy restrictions during the week that trigger major overeating later on.  I can't wait to do this, thanks Beth!

Hello! I'm excited to join this challenge! I'm 20, 5'8", and have fluctuated weight a lot within this past year and a half. I went from 145 to 125 last summer, and then in December 2007 I went from 130 to 157, my highest in June. I'm currently around 155-ish and wanting to get back down to 125. I need help staying committed, not bingeing, keeping a healthy mindset, and having regular exercise. I'm a cyclist, I jog, and I love to hike. Right now I'm spending my summer in Alaska and will be moving back down to Arizona in the winter after a long road trip... so lots of change in my life! I know how to eat healthy though, and I know how to lose the weight, I just need to keep on track!

I'm Leanne and I'm 37.  I started CC in February and I have lost 45lbs.  Everything is moving very slowly at this point.  I was hoping to lose it by Halloween but at this rate I'll take Christmas with a smile!  If I reach it sooner then I'll be here to maintain.

Hey, I'm Laura. I'm 20 and split my time between living near Cardiff (the capital of wales) and in university in Oxford in England where I'm going into my 3rd year of medschool. I'm 5'2" and do lots of running (training for a marathon), swimming and cycling (just starting triathlon) and I row in uni too, as well as skiing once a year, the occasional squash game/kayaking/boxercise etc.

Today is my 1 year CC anniversary. I started off a year ago at 154lbs, got down to 126lbs by Feb/Mar ish then gained some back.
