I want to stunt my growth. Does anyone know any good excersizes, etc. to do that?

I do not think you can really influence your growth, other than eating healthy food.

Unless you're a teenager over 6'1" tall, I think it would be pretty unethical to recommmend exercises to "stunt your growth".

I don't believe that there are such exercises, though...

why would you want to stunt your growth?  I need some more info before I can answer that, but I agree with moozoo, you can't stunt your growth through exercise very well.  Although a slight growth stunt does occur in some gymnasts.
You could always just remove the bone from the knee to the hip... that should like take away what? 14 inches at least?

uh horseriding?

most riders and jockeys are pretty short.

but stunting your growth is pretty stupid anyways, unless you're a teenager over 3 meters tall.

If you're still young...I would suggest gymnastics. Usually the stress on your joints and bones from doing handspings and cartwheels will stunt a childs growth.

I'm not fully educated on the matter, but I think that gymnastics and horseriding do not stunt your growth.... rather, people who become gymnasts and jockeys are naturally of small stature.

I have never heard of anyone using any activity to stunt their growth.

:)

I'm afraid that most anything that could be recommended to you would be contrary to the purpose of this website.  I know you are a new member (welcome, by the way!) so it's totally understandable if you might not be aware that our site is about promoting healthy weight management.  Intentionally stunting your growth wouldn't fall under the category of 'healthy' in most people's minds.

I would like to please ask that anyone who choses to respond continue to do so with the OP's health in mind.  We don't know how old you are, panda_08, but I think we can assume if you are wanting to stunt your growth that you are young enough to still be growing, and as I said we unfortunately cannot give you any kind of unhealthy advice.  Sorry!

If you are truly concerned, you might speak with your parents and doctor about it.

Why do you want to stunt your growth? Are you a gymnast?

If not, then I can't see any reason for wanting to stunt your growth! You don't mention your gender, but if you're a guy, then tall guys look amazing (although short guys do too! Hell, guys in general look amazing! You're all fab), and if you're a girl, you'll have long legs and you can go for the whole 'leggy blonde/brunette' look.

If life's made you tall, then live it and love it.
is this for real??
I am guessing not!
why the heck would you want to be shorter? i'm 5'2" and it SUCKS., i'd pay good money to even get to 5'4".

 They might be 6'3" at 13 :P

Are you out of your freaking mind? Why would you want to do that?? How tall are you now and how old are you? I'm 25, full grown obviously, and only 5'1", and its no picnic being short, it HONESTLY effects your quality of life. I can't even buy things off the top shelves at grocery store sometimes because I can't reach them! All my pants are torn up on the bottom on the backside because I step on them! I have to keep a step ladder in my kitchen to get dishes off the top shelves in my cabinets! I have to depend on my husband to do all kinds of things for me just because I am to short to do it myself!
