I want a summer body! help
I want to lose 15 pounds by august, but don't know how, I am five feet seven inches 147lbs. My goal is 130lbs. Any suggestions? ![]()
- Exercise! Do lots and lots of cardio.
- Eat the right kind of food! Cut down/eliminate anything oily, greasy, fried, sugary and heavily processed.
- Drink enough water! Cut down on other beverages unless you are talking about tea with minimal sugar/sweeteners.
- Get lots of sleep! At least seven hours per night for adults. Rest more if you had a long day to regain energy.
I did this and lost quite a bit in four months.. about 8lbs? I was not very disciplined so I hardly exercised. >_> However, eating properly helped a lot!

This should tell you how many calories you burn each day. Try to eat that much for maitainence, or less for weight loss, though never littler than 1200. Creating a 500 calorie deficit, whether through exercise or diet, will cause you too loose one pound per week (-500 x 7 = -3500, with 3500 calories to a pound).
Also, in addition to cardio, which is great for your heart, try some weight lifting or a toning exercise. This will help you to look sleeker, feel firmer, and of course, be healthier!

yeah im genetically ghost white! its creepy, my face and forearms are ok, but seriously, my parents are both from england and like never go outside!

i also agree with aiming, a summer body suggests fit for the beach, so toning would be sexy :P if your going out in a bikini being confident will be another thing that will be important, no matter how much you loose just be happy with the body your in, dont loose the weight just to be slim and look good for (the guys lol) and summer, loose it because you are unhealthy and want to be healthy, love yourself reguardless
