Is that so much to ask?! I'm lazy and I don't want to diet. I want to be one of those skinny people that was just born like that and eats all the time.

Gorgeous devil...So do I! I actually am thin but I want to be thin naturally and be able to eat what I want. Not to be thin because of a calorie restricted diet...
well, your profile says you were born in 1990, so that makes you 16-17, right. If you learn to eat right and stuff now you'll get nice and thin and healthy, and know how to exercise, then, when most of your friends lose their unfairly fast metabolism you'll be ahead of the game. At least thats how I've decided to look at things.

But, yeah... wouldn't it be great.... not to have to work for it... *sigh*

My brother was one of those, we weight basically the same now, and other than this post, I am much nicer. I can be something else? (A better speller? My spell check is gatting a bit tired from over use)
I don't mind having to watch my weight like a hawk -- I've been doing it all my life, so it's second nature to me. In fact, I'd RATHER be the way I am (having to count every calorie), because at least I know I'll be as healthy as is I can be (as much as is in my control). If I was naturally thin, I'd be eating all kinds of garbage and THAT, my dear, is NOT healthy at all. At SOME point they will (probably) pay. Skinny people can have heart disease and cancer and high cholesterol too! Plus, those "naturally thin" people, a lot of times, not all, but a lot, pack on the pounds at some point!

Another thing, all of this contributes to who we are in some way ... you never know what career path you will take or who you will meet that will change your life in some way ... Yes, there is a reason for everything ... I believe ... in the grand scheme of things (not speaking religiously).
You already know the answer.  Why not change your goal to be as healthy as possible and to be as good a person as possible?
it makes me mad that i know someone who is very thin cuz all she does is pukes up everything....but i have to restrict calories and im still chunky. whaaaaat giiiiiiiiiiives.

Just because someone is thin, it doesn't mean that they are healthy!  I bet you that there are more unhealthy "thin" people then there are unhealthy "overweight" people.

But... yeah I wish that the world would reverse and suddenly things like Kraft Dinner became healthy for you and celery bad for you.... ah to dream.
Let me know if you find that faster metabolism secret.  That sounds like a good idea to me too.  Even though I eat fairly healthy I tend to eat larger portions than I should.  I started doing that when I needed 4500+ calories a day working construction, but I stopped that years ago and haven't backed down enough still.  Maybe I'll just have to go back to a manual labor job (eeh) since I'm not the best for getting motivated to exercise...

Yeah...I eat whatever I want, I just make sure to make up for it doing exercise, or eat a little bit of it. There's no such thing as bad food, only bad portion sizes!

But....I find that healthy stuff tends to taste better than junk food anyways. So, what I want is healthy food! And occasionally a cookie when I feel like it :)

Oh my gosh you are all just way too good looking, I just figured out you can see pictures on names...(sort of new here) I'll have to put one on mine too, but I'm a wee bit older;;) Yessss...I ate myself into insulin shock today with two candy bars after choc. deprivation for a while, I was found passed out in bed at 7 pm. no booze involved. I think I'm skinny, I'm now 119 though and gained 2 lbs this week from lack of exercise and late night munching, it sucks on like a blood thirsty leech when you aren't paying attention for ONE SECOND I tell ya, well I guess I figured it out. I swear there is no such thing as a high metabolism unless you haven't finished puberty. It's a matter of no fast food, POP (its my vendetta) or late night over eating, plus exersize, it will always be a love/hate relationship and anyone who says otherwise is lying in my opinion. Too much temptation out there, I love to jog...I hate it, I love disgusting tofu... no I don't...
Being thin isnt all that its cracked up to be. Being healthy (and naturally slim, not a wafer) is much better.
Those ppl who eat EVERYTHING end up being those ppl who die early of heart problems, or who get middle age spread.
Focus on goo dnutrition and as long as you're not a pig and binge on crap, you wont be fat. Honest. If you stick to your serves like your country's nutritional thingo says, you'll be fine. Unless you binge or sit on your bum, or have a proper medical condition in which case you need to see a doctor

Sorry if I come off super rude but I am sick to death of seeing all these 13-17 year olds whinging about eating an apple scared they will get fat. I started CC at 17, and I did bad stuff - I only ate 1200 cal per day, despite being a growing girl. Luckily I actually listened to people around here, ate more and kept losing, unti l I finally got to a healthy weight and started sleeping at night. Unfortch I got food poisoning and my stomach decided to reject fat, basically I got sick and ate too little. Now I am weedy, cant run as  fast, get tired, am on nutritional suppliemtns to gain weight but cant, its uncomfry sitting, my hair is falling out and my bones poke out. I lost my boobs and my toosh.

I know how it feels - you just wanna be thin. But be careful what you wish for, and what your idea of thin is. When will you stop? I thought 57kg, but it kept going for another 10 (once I fell ill)
Now I cant just binge on chocolate like ppl imagine I could, to gain weight as a) my body rjects it and b) its soo mcad to eat like that.

So please, focus on nutrition and also cals, but dont eat 1200 cals of fat free pudding - make every cal count. You'reo n a restircted diet so you have to be extra vigilant. This doesnt mean dont treat yourself.

I agree - bad portion sizes (tho i think deep fried doesnt come with a good portion size if its frequently) Food isnt bad. People are laxy. I know I am
And robochels, I hope you're mad cos she's an idiot - her throat will be all ruined in a few months, and she risks malnutrition, dehydration, gross rotten teeth, gland swelling (makking her face look fat), reflux (mm yummy...), ulcers, possible rupture of the esophagus,anemia, iron deficency, hormonla imbalances, mental problems just to name a few. I'm glad you're sensible and eating correct potion sizes. it'll get easier and think - when you're maintaining, that's an extra 500 cals per day (I try to make it of healthy fruit/food)
