I want tight abs like THESE!

Quote  |  Reply
i think the one thing that would make me hysterically happy was if i had abs similar to these. http://www.alessandrobuzzi.it/download/files/ Alessandra_Ambrosio%20.jpg

of course i get she's a model, and probably air brushed in some pictures, but still, how can i look SOMEWHAT like her????

and she's not nasty skinny either- her ribs or hip bones dont stick out- she looks healthy- muscley, not flabby. HOW can i get flat abs like hers??? any suggestions? would running help?

thanks sooo much for tips

Sorry to be nonconstructive, but her hair made me think of "There's Something About Mary." Laughing
Well, I imagine it's a combination of (1) genetics, (2) extremely low body fat percentage, and (3) core strengthening.  Running will help you with #2 and somewhat with #3.  There is a saying, though, that abs are made in the kitchen.  A lot of bodybuilders will tell you that a low-starchy-carb, high protein diet is essential.  I've never tried it, so I can't vouch for it.
I second what lysistrata said--you'd probably need a very very low body fat percentage to have abs like that, which is potentially dangerous for teenage girls. I mean, I have a low BF% and I still don't have abs like that--but I have lost my period. THOSE are the kinds of ideals I think I can hold off on accomplishing :)
My sis has abs like that... but she's naturally super skinnyy.

It doesn't mean you can't have a slim stomach though... Just workout and do lots of cardio.. its really helping me

That will help with your BF% Which will make your body tighter. You probably know that already but just saying.

:)
Alessandra's my role model. :) CosmoGirl workouts got me very close to that body at one point! Buy the magazine and try them out. :D (I'm talking about the CosmoGirl Challenges, I don't know if they do them anymore... haven't gotten my magazine delivered in aaaaages)
I used to have abs like that, but then I lost it (it's really hard to maintain) but the model has a very low BF%. So no amount of sit-ups will get you those abs without first lowering your calorie intake. I also suggest doing pilates and probably more than 100 sit-ups a day and I'm sure running will increase your strength and fitness too. Good luck.
She looks pretty skinny to me.  It may look nice in a photo, but I'll bet she looks gaunt as hell without makeup in person.  I don't know what to say other than that.  The ideal for a model in a magazine is one thing, the ideals we should strive for in real life are another.  I'd never encourage anyone to try to be like that.

I but I don't see any abs at all!!  I see a super skinny person.

 These are tight abs!!!!
