But it has far too many calories

Today I got the Kellogs Sultana Bran Crunch. I havent tried it yet. Has anyone else tried it? Is it good? i was thinking of returning it for my regular Post cereal.

PS: I am not a big fan of Special k.

I've recently rediscovered puffed wheat cereal ( I used to eat it as a kid!).  One cup is only 70 calories so you can have a huge bowl of it, skim milk, splenda and a sliced banana in it for about 300 calories.  YUM!  Oh yeah, it's cheap too, about $1 a bag.

Oh man i used to love that cereal!!!

I was trying to remembered the name but for the life of me i couldn't recall the name.

I researched the cereal you posted, and BAM its my long loved cereal

THANKS!!

I love Puffed Wheat cereal too! The kind I get only has 50 calories per cup!!   I usually mix it in with other cereals like bran flakes or corn flakes for a more hearty texture! 2 Cups bran flakes, 1 cup puffed wheat plus skim milk(mixed half and half with cold water) and you have a fairly large bowl for about 300 cal. I usually have a bit more than this which brings me up to about 400 cal, but it is soooo good!!!

I love puffed wheat with cinnamon and splenda... but only with literally like, three drops of water. Puffed wheat deflates SO much!

Puffed Wheat is actually great dry all on its own too. With nothing on it it somehow seems to have a very slightly salty taste wich is odd because there is no salt at all in the cereal, but it tastes great, a lot like popcorn!!

I absolutely love Quaker Oatmeal Squares. Its so delicious and scores a A on calorie count.

I just bought the GOLEAN and it has the puffed wheat. The cereal itself looks like dried dog food but its quite good with fresh strawberries or walnuts.

And its a A which is always great

:D

I love Sultana Bran (I think it's similar to Raisin Bran?), Cheerios, Oatmeal, All-Bran :)

I recently discovered Food for Life's Ezekiel 4:9 cereals... I don't think I'll ever go back to anything else other than oatmeal on occassion.  There are, I think, 4 types/flavors.  190 calories in 1/2 cup serving, but it keeps me feeling full and nourished.  I sometimes cut the serving in half to 1/4 cup.  BTW, this site's serving size was not correct for this product.  I sent a message to whomever, but got no response as of the moment.

Kashi Go Lean Crunch.  Def. healthier than those other cereals.

Cascadian farm has good cereals too.

I love Kashi go lean crunch! and oatmeal sqaures are an old time favorite.

I recently invested in a slow cooker, and have been putting steal cut oats in it at night with raisons and dried apricots. It cooks over night, and I have delicious oatmeal ready for me when I wake up:D

I almost always eat Kashi GoLEAN Crunch! cereal for breakfast everyday. Whether it's mixed with some yogurt, fruit and nut butter or simply soaked in some cold soy milk (especially when topped with blueberries), you'll definately be finding me eating it!

I also love cereals by the company Natures Path. Their Optimum Banana Almond cereal is my favourite.

Peanut Butter Puffins is another good one. I just had some of them puffies this morning along with 1/2c Kashi GoLEAN Crunch! cereal in soymilk with frozen raspberries and banana slices. Mmm, a little bowl of goodness!

Cereal.is.the.best! Tongue out

Uncle Sam, very low sugar, high fiber and mixes well with yogurt or other cereals.
