Wanted: Competitive person
So I am a really competitive person and I typically do better with weight loss when I have someone to compete with. By compete I don't mean pounds wise its more of an exercise thing.
So if anyone is interested let me know, what I am looking for is someone to post with everyday about how much they exercised and how many calories they burnt.
Thanks. Interviewing in Garner, would be working in Mount Olive
Mount Olive is beautiful. Great liberal arts college there. It seems everyone walks or rides their bikes to school or work. If you hadn't been made aware, the girl to guy ratio is about 5:1.
Sorry, didn't mean to threadjack. I really just wanted to hop on to your thread b/c as the title stated, I am ultra competitive. I just get real protective of NC and hate that I was transferred away. Now I am kind of trapped in Alabama. I have a plan but I won't be able to move back for 6 years. I lived in Chapel Hill when I was there.

I soo want in on this. This is exactly what I was looking to find on here to give me that extra motivation. Thanks for the oppurtunity and idea. I guess I will see al of you later when I log what I have done for today once I do it. But I must say I amjust starting on the exercising so it may start off slow!
Ok March seriously sucked I was in an intense interview process for 3 weeks, 10 interviews, flew to NC twice only to have them not to hire me. I am extremely stressed out, so now its back to applying for more jobs and focusing on the workouts. Good job to everyone who has stayed with it.
A- Anything is better than nothing, and this of this thread as accountability. We are expecting you to post (that is what motivated me to exercise)
Sorry guys that I have been MIA. I bought the wii fit and I have not been working out the way that I normally do. I am back now.

Hey there--I fell off-the-wagon for a bit exercise-wise--started a new job in January and it took until March for me to get into enough of a schedule to exercise regularly. Now I'm trying to, though, so I thought I'd add my weekend activity. There isn't much, but posting it will probably help me do better in the coming week.
Saturday - ran 2 miles (200 calories)
Sunday - rest day
Monday - biked 6 miles (200 calories)
My exercise schedule for this week is:
Tuesday - Run 3 miles, weight train 1/2 hr (450 calories)
Wednesday - Rest day
Thursday - Run 3 miles, weight train 1/2 hr (450 calories)
Friday - Run 5 miles
Saturday - Run 1 mile, weight train 1 hr (400 calories)
Sunday - 1 hour yoga class (400 calories)
Now you know it, and can chastise me properly if I fail to accomplish my goals :)
Okay, so here's my update for the week. It didn't go quite as planned (never does), but I think I did OK:
Tuesday - ran 3 miles, no weight training (270 calories)
Wednesday - Rest day
Thursday - ran 1 mile, 45 minutes weight training (300ish calories)
Friday - uh...went to go see "Up"...ran 1/2 mile because my work computer was being a butt and a program crashed 20 times in an hour, and apparently "around the block" at my work is half a mile (45 calories)
Saturday - 1 hour interval training, mixed cardio and weights, (420 calories)
Total: ran 7.3 miles, 1.25 hrs weight training (1035 calories)
