Wanted to introduce myself ;)
Hello everyone. I'm Holland from Concord, NC. Just wanted to say how awesome I think this site is..very glad I stumbled upon it. I'm 27, I'm married and have a wonderful 3 year old daughter.
I've been heavy since probably 4th grade and I'm now 27 years old. Last year I started a diet on my own, basically watching calories and cutting down my portions. I also joined a local gym which I go to 2-3 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less depending. I've lost 98 pounds so far and I can finally fit into a size 10.
I'm having a little bit of a hard time though and my hubby thinks I'm nuts because I still see myself as big. Having been large so long, it's like I can't get it out of my head that I'm the same size even though I'm not. Just was wondering if anyone else has felt that way. I feel a bit lost. I've got 43 more pounds to go until I get my target weight. Whoohoo...hope to meet some of you guys!

Hi! I am Molly. I am 29 with a 3 yr old girl too. Dontcha just luv 3 year olds?! Yikes! My little one is the light of my life, precious, wonderful, and I believe slightly insane.
If you still dont feel comfortable at a size ten then I dont see why you should stop now. I mean, its not like you are a size 2 saying you want to lose more weight. Size ten is awsome though. I am about a 16 and would LOVE to be an 8. I am so sick of failing. I have decided not to be the "I will start again on Monday" girl anymore. I am just going to have to dig my heels in and go along for the ride.
You lost 98 pounds?! Holy crap! How long did it take, what was your diet? That is really awesome. What was your size when you started? I am really impressed.
