Cool! A motivation section! I should have really given this site a better look when i first created my account!

EDIT : I should mention that when i say "competing" i mean for a figure competition!

Anyone out there also working towards competing? I have 8 months to train and would like a motivation buddy! I'm very serious about having a motivation buddy.

Details

As a motivation buddy, I'd like the share program outlines, ideas about clothes and such for the competition, routines, share photos as we progress, ideas about different hair styles and make-up designs (in a figure competition you are judged on EVERYTHING, not just your muslces!), work out routines, share our struggles and frustrations as well as chat about those days we feel great about how we've done so far lol.

...anyone...?

well, if no one, then I will remain my own motivation buddy. My boyfriend works out with me, but I don't count him, we just workout together, it's not so much as 'working together' because we have different goals. He's working out for health and strength, I'm working out for the competition...fat loss and muscle mass gain.

Anyways. I'm going to keep a journal on this site as my way of being my own motivational buddy. lol. but if there is anyone who would like to be my motivational buddy, let me know. :)

Hello.. I am not really trying to get fit for competitions, but I use to be very in to weight lifting 6 days a week, and cardio and Pilates 7 days a week, and at the gym and the guys I worked out with some of them where into competitions. I could use a motivational buddy for getting back into weights and not just worrying about skinny but about being fit.  So I could definetly be a sounding board for clothes and makeup and for tips and things. I come from a family of very athletic competitive people. brother fights MMA and so does his girlfriend, they own their own gym, marathon sister, and super fit other sister. So ideas and motivation I can handle.  It is weird for me people I dont know are easier to ask and talk to then my own family for my working out reasons. However I am always asked to get advice and tips from my sisters and brother. So if I sound at all like someone you want to buddy up with on this site let me know. -E

I'm going to start training for a half marathon.  If that is what your talking about I would love to have a motivation buddy!

heh. i just edited it. i left out what sort of competition it was, lol. it is for a figure competition.

ifela, i will definately send you a message on this site soon, probably later today, not now though as i am really tired and in need of a nap!
