Help I've just realized exactly 1 year ago today I signed up to drop the same 40 lbs. I'm STILL trying to drop (actually I've added 4 more). Help! I could use a buddy........ I'm sinking!
I think that getting support and a network of people definitely helps. I'm doing the clean eating challenge and the exercise challenge as they help me stay focused.

Worked out this morning, feeling encouraged, eating clean and excercising (about 1.5 hours today). Gonna walk kids to the park!
Working on staying motivated today. Think I'm gonna try posting notes of encouragment in the house (mirrors and in the car).

Hello everyone. Hope you're all travelling ok. I think my biggest problem is going to be sticking to my exercise goals. it's 5.30pm Melbourne time and I'm home from work reasonably early - great, I should be using the time to quickly get to the gym before it gets too crowded. Problem is, I had a glass of champagne over a late lunch and now I just feel like curling up in front of the tv. However, I'm going to somehow over-ride that feeling. I can do this. Ok, time to sign off and pack my gym bag - oh dear!
Yeah, my biggest issue is getting to the gym this week.
I promised myself that I'd be doing 45 min sessions at least 5 times this week. I will try my best to stick to my goal.
It's hard fitting in exercise. Life is so busy, and I find that if I don't get it in while my energy levels are good, then I may as well forget it. Hope you're managing to achieve your goals Calbert, but don't be too hard on yourself if you don't make it every time. I think this journey is just as much about accepting all the times we don't do as well as we'd like, and keeping on going nonetheless. Keep it up!
Tomorrow is November 1st! That means a new month and a new beginning. I have to gain my focus and motivation. I didn't exercise today but tomorrow is a new day!
I totally blew it yesterday! Everything was going fine util I got a call from a friend to catch up for a drink after work. I immediately ditched my plans of going to the gym and staying ihome for a . Ended up having way too much to drink and pigged out on brie, olives and dips along with about a packet of crackers between us. It wouldn't have been so awful if I'd at least gone to the gym first. I am going to have to give serious consideration to the issue of getting my exercise done every day. Maybe I can get up an hour earlier and do it first thing in the morning. I'm not a morning person so that may not be easy, but I'll think about it. Other than that though, I had a pretty good week overall. Monday is my weigh-in day so I'll let you know how I've gone for my first week then. Best of luck to all, hope you're still doing well and feeling motivated.
