Wanting to lose cellulite

Quote  |  Reply

Wondering if anyone knows what foods contribute to cellulite, and what can help? I have heard that carbonated sodas and high sodium diets make it worse(and genetics). Ive also heard that drinking lots of water and increasing your potassium intake (to remove sodium from cells) will help combat this...I cant remember where I heard this or if its true...can anyone let me know if they've heard anything like this? thanks !!

Fluid retention, in my experience, makes cellulite look worse.  You can't get rid of it all together but if you get a lot of the 'nasties' out of your diet such as too much sugar, salt, sweetners, caffeine, alcohol and a lot of the preservatives in processed/packet foods and eat more vegetables, fruit, wholefoods, home-cooked meals etc. you can help it a lot.  Some extra fluid can be helpful if you don't tend to drink much.

I'm not really sure about specific foods - but after my first month of CC  my boyfriend immediately pointed out that he noticed the "cottage cheese" on my butt and thighs had really gone away...

Cellulite is fat, it's just lumpier fat.  Lose the fat and you'll lose the cellulite.
