Hi i just found this site, i am extremely excited about this, i am just wondering if anybody wants to join me in my goal of losing 20 lbs until April. We can write to each other even e-mail to give each other support and well the competition is good because it motivates and the results are even better.

Okay, I am currently 143.5 and would like to be at or below 130 by April 25th. I exercise 4-5 times a week which includes a lot of free weights, some dance classes, and walking. I'm also limiting my caloric intake to 1500. We'll see how it goes.

I love a challenge.  I am currently 158pds and would love to break the 140's by being at least 139 by April.

3 kids under the age of 5 and a husband who works away 5 days a week along with 2 jobs makes it busy but I am a go getter we can do this.

I say we post every monday our weight. 9 weeks!!

I think that sounds like a great idea; I'm with you.  I'm hoping to reach around 120lbs by that time - right now I'm at about 129, so I know it's possible.  My biggest problem is that I'm still nursing myoungest (he's only 3 months old), and he isn't gaining weight as well as he was before.  I'm wondering if I'm restricting myself too much in order to do this?  I don't feel hungry or deprived, but I'm concerned that there maybe isn't enough extra to provide everything that he needs as well.  I think I'm going to try their little "ask Mary" thing and see if I can get an answer to that one...  In the meantime, I guess I'll just make sure I keep the quality up in what I eat, and maybe add a few extra calories to my "goal". 

Hello!  I would like to join as well.  I weigh myself every monday.  This monday I was 119.  we'll see how this week goes! 

maybe I should add more, lol, I got excited.  I am 119 and would like to be 110 by April.  I have always fluctuated between 125 and 120.  I lost one lb after going vegan, I just have to stop making vegan brownies (they are so good!).  I am 5 feet tall, and don't feel fat, I just want to be very defined for my vacation in April.  I have always been average, but have never had muscle definition before, so it will be a challenge.  Last week was my first week back to the gym, I went twice (i was snowed in for 3 days so that didn't help).  This week is going better.  I plan to go 4 times a week and do cardio and weight training.  YAY for friendly competition and support!  I can't wait until we all meet our goals!

I think this is what I'm looking for!

I have NO movtivation what so ever and I've been carrying around 10-15lbs of extra weight that makes me incredibly uncomfortable and im finally ready to do something about!!! Im 5'8 and 150lbs. At my most comfortable I was 135-140 and at my highest 160. Im just ready to kick my back fat to the curb!!!!

Does anyone in here have any really good work out songs?  I always get excited about working out when I get some new songs.  Among my favorites is Gwen Stefani and Rob Zombie.  Let me know!

I love really super upbeat music when i work out like M.I.A. or The Ting Tings "That's not my name is a great song on the treadmill"

Both of those are really good suggestions, I like all kinds of music (rock, rap, country)  Thank you!  and the dreaded weigh in... Yesterday I weighed 115, but this morning I weighed 118... WTF?!  lol, i am thinking it is water weight, so I want to go with 115.  We will see if I can keep it up next monday Laughing

I just joined this site. My goal is to lose close to 20lbs by April 7th, which is a total of 8 weeks. My current weight is 142.2 lbs and my goal is to be 125 lbs.

I'm in! I want to lose 20 lbs. by my 21st birthday! That is April 4th. A little history: I have a 3 month old son, and during my pregnancy I gained 80 lbs! I went from 100 lbs. to 180! I am now down to 140, and hoping to be 120 by April, or less if possible! I want to lose this baby weight! This is the first summer I'm not working-so I want to enjoy it-bikini and all! I'm hoping that I am able to do this! Anyone who wants to-add me as a friend! I will have to weigh myself on my WiiFit when Camden goes to sleep and post back! Goodluck girls!

Hi everyone! I hope it's not too late to join :( I'm currently 5'1 and 115 pounds. I'm looking to get down to 105, but I know that will definitely take some time! It's always those last few pounds that are the hardest! I'm hoping to be rid of those 10 pounds in 6 weeks, so by April 9th they should be all gone!
