Who wants to lose 10 lbs by Christmas?
Hi all!
The site wouldn't let me log in yesterday. Here are my stats for weigh in #4:
Start weight: 152
Last week: 146.5
This week: 146
Christmas Goal: 142
The weight loss is slowing down! Only down a half a pound this week. I can't wait to fit into my old sizes.
Be strong on Thanksgiving!!!
SW: 141.2
W1: 139.5
W2:140.1
W3: 138.3
WEIGH-IN 4: 136.2!! How awesome is that!
I actually gained due to nearly a week of binge eating (close to or above 3,000 calories every day). But I need to be honest about it and be accountable so here goes:
Weigh in #4:
Ht: 5'7"
Age: 34
Xmas Goal: 155 lbs. / Long-term Goal: 140 lbs.
Start Weight: 166.2
Weigh in #1: 165.6
Weigh in #2: 163.0
Weigh in #3: 161.2
Weigh in #4: 164
Still have 9 lbs to go for xmas. But I still have 5 weeks so that is doable if I get back on track.
Starting weight on October 26: 248.6
November 16: 240.0
November 23: 235.4
Goal by Christmas: 235.0
Looks like I have 0.4 pounds to go. Really I'm hoping to lose a bit more than that by Christmas.
Weigh in #5:
Starting: 245
Current: 236.5
Goal for Christmas: 235
Same as last week. :-( At least I didn't gain from Thanksgiving cookies, though. Just 1.5 pounds to go.
Edit: Weigh-in #5, not 4. Time flies.
Age: 56
Height: 5'1"
GW: 135 (for Christmas)
Weigh in #1: 145
Weigh in #2: 142 - current wk 3 lbs.
Weigh in #3: 141.5 - current wk .5 lbs. total loss 3.5 lbs.
Weigh in #4: 140 - current wk 1.5 lbs. total loss 5 lbs.
Weigh in #5: 138 - current wk 2 lbs., total loss 7 lbs.
Not bad for the day after Thanksgiving. I think I'm going to make this challenge!
Weigh in #5:
Ht: 5'7"
Age: 34
Xmas Goal: 155 lbs. / Long-term Goal: 140 lbs.
Start Weight: 166.2
Weigh in #1: 165.6
Weigh in #2: 163.0
Weigh in #3: 161.2
Weigh in #4: 164
Weigh in #5: 163 - I will have to weigh myself again tomorrow at my own home (my usual scale) to see how accurate this is. Also I weighed myself after eating bfast which I never do at home... hopefully it will be lower tomorrow!! EEK!!
Still have 8 lbs to go for xmas, but happy with this after Thanksgiving.
Weigh in #4 for me:
height 5'8"
age:36
weight as of today 131...up .8 from yesterday...sheesh. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Xmas Goal weight 125 - I really don't think I am going to make it there by Christmas, with the rate of loss really slowing down. I think I may be happy with 128 which I think is more realistic.
See you next Friday!
this week 192
I am all over the place...I was 189 on Wed. and this happened a few weeks ago too. Today 192. My moon started early this month. Last time it started the day before I dropped to 189 also. I am wondering if I will reach my goal of 183? Keep pluggin' away a pound at a time!
Good luck everyone and hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving.
Julie
Welllllll the good news is that I think I was lower than 163 lbs today. I got home and weighed myself on my usual scale. I know it's OK to fluctuate some but I feel it's more accurate if I use my same scale and same time of day. So I think I was probably closer to 162 or so this morning based on my own scale.... hopefully the results will show on next Friday's weigh-in!!!
Mostly I am just thrilled that so far no extra Thanksgiving weight is showing up. I guess it paid off to do my 5K turkey trot yesterday. WOO HOO!!!!!
I was very busy this weekend, so this is the first time I have gotten a chance to log in this weeks weight.
I started at 146 (The Friday after Halloween, November 2... I think)
I am now 141, so I am half way there and today is the half way mark for Christmas so I am on target of making goal! For the first time in the history of my life, I actually went down one pound from Thanksgiving morning and the Friday after Thanksgiving... miracles do happen! Now if I can making through my birthday *(tomorrow) without gaining weight, life will be good (until Christmas anyway :)

I think I will be happy as long as I reach my second goal weight by Christmas.
Okay so somewhere along the way I have lost track of dates because I posted on the 16th and logged it as the 9th?
Whatever - here we are today and I totally fell off the wagon for almost a week! Ooops - made for a fun Thanksgiving though! I didn't count or anything. I don't really even fell bad - well a little but not that much - sorry I am late logging in but as of this morning:
Start - 145
10-23-07 - 143
10-29-07 - 145.5 EKKK! TOM
11-5-07 - 142
11-16-07? - 140.5

Guess I didn't do too bad considering Aunt Flo is here visiting -
The only good thing I did was exercise. Down from 6 days a week to 4 but at least I tried!! It was a busy weekend!!
Hope everyone is doing good!
I am thinking I am not going to make the 10 lbs by Christmas, but I am not giving up!!!

Good Luck to everyone!

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
