Who wants to Get out of the 120's already!!!!

Quote  |  Reply

Hi all. I have lost weight and have currently been bouncing around the 120's for a while now. Some times up to 127 then on down to 122. My goal is 115 and I have been trying at it for months. It is now time to get serious!! I want to lose those last 10 lbs. Today I am at 125 and want to know if anyone wants to lose 10 lbs with me. We can keep each other accountable. I really think that weigh ins should be on fridays too. Before the weekend so theres not to much pressure. Any one out there??

I'm sure others will be curious as well: what are your stats?  Height and age?  I would buddy up with you, but I am actually trying to gain weight and I doubt that would be very helpful.  :)  Best of luck!

Im 25

5'3

125

last year at this time i weighed 155. Thank god that is gone. Having a buddy would be fun, but gaining weight would not. tehee!! Thanks for the reply though OKGO!!

hey we have pretty similar stats.  Im 15, 5'4 and about 130.  I would like to get down to 120, but for now i am just working on 125... just as a smaller goal.  But like you this time last year i was about 150-155.  Totally up for keeping each other accountable and i usually weigh myself on Friday or saturday now so that works out perfectly:)

I'm in pretty near the same situation as Alexandra - 117 - 118 (5'3") and want to get down to 110. Perhaps we can all help eachother find our 'happy place' in the 110-119 range. I was 112 two months ago and I'm desperately trying to get back there.

Is 27 and 127 I have been trying to get to 115 for almost a year. I am also 5'2'' forgot that. Feel free to add me as a buddy if you would like to.

I'm 25, 5'3" and weigh about 132 at the moment, my goal is to get down to 125 but I'd like to maintain between 120 and 125.  If you guys don't mind my asking, what size jeans do you wear?

I'm a 6 right now and I don't know if the last 7-12 pounds will take me down to a 4, but i'm really hoping so.  I know sizes vary from store to store and country to country, but you guys all seem to be about the weight i want to get to, and i'm planning to buy a bunch of new clothes for christmas (should hit my goal around then).

thanks!

mdillman3-

I am a size six also and i'm kinda looking to get to a size four as well. i have pretty much the same stats/goals as you also

Count me in!  I am 42 years old; 5'3"; 114 lbs and want to get back to 103 lbs.  I weighed that for years (after having kids) and felt very healthy at that weight.  I would love the accountability and Friday weigh ins.  Let's get there together...

Hey everyone, I would like to join you all too, I am 5'3" and 128 lbs., trying to get to a goal weight of 115 or less.  I'm trying to stick to 1400 calories a day but not always suceeding, and the friday weigh-ins sound great.  I'm 34 years old and I have also been keeping track of my calories for months, since July, without losing much weight, but lately I am really motivated and working out more.Smile

I would like to join too, I'm 20 5'4" and 127 lbs, I lost 25 pounds two years ago cutting out soda and sweets. I'm feeling like I'm good now but I can be better so 115 is my goal, I started counting calories on this website in July at 130 lbs and have added exercise M-F 45 mins, I'm feeling healthier and more in shape just from that but it's been really slow going and I need motivation! oh yeah, jeans size, I'm a 5 with some 3's fitting me since I've been doing weight training, it's really helped to tone and tighten so my clothes fit better.

Hey everyone!!! I am 5'2" and currently 124, I was down to 120 and then gained over the past couple weeks, so I am looking to get back on track and get to my UTLIMATE goal of 115!!!!

My starting weight was 158 and that was over 2 years ago. It has a been a long road and I can see the end!!!

What is everyone doing for cal intake and exercise?

I am doing the NROLFW, 3 times a week, and then light cardio 2x a week. I am trying eat anywhere from 1500-2000 calories depending on my exercise for the day.

I'm in on this one too!  Last year this time I was 116, now I am 127.  Holy Cow! (Pun intended Laughing).

I am 36, 5'4.5", I do strength training 3x week and try to do cardio 2 - 3 other days...  but lately I have been slacking on watching my calories and cardio - hence the 11 lbs.

So, Friday morning Weigh-Ins sound like a plan.  Can someone keep track of our results and post them for the group each week?  Public humiliation - or exaltation - is a great motivator!

Looking forward to it, Ladies!

I am gonna jump on this bandwagon. I was 115-118 this time last year. I gained weight after moving and losing my gym! At 123 in January, I found out I was pregnant. I gained 19 lbs by my daughter's birth 10/4/08. I lost all but 2 lbs before leaving the hospital 10/5/08. I am 123 again now and need to tone the tummy and drop a few excess lbs. I stayed in great shape and am at a great starting point. I plan to start running again any day now and already walk daily and do light weights and calisthenics again. I'm breastfeeding, so that helps to. My goal is around 115 again by Thanksgiving or so. I know I can do it, I just like the extra encouragement.

Also, I plan to do some races in the last winter/early spring. Is anyone else in upstate New York?

Oh, my stats...28 yrs old, 5'3", 123lbs, small frame. Sounds like a personal ad. LOL!

Is it too late to join?

Age: 24

Height: 5'5

Weight: 122

Goal: 115

I started a few weeks ago at 124, and I haven't weighed in for this week yet (I'm on my period and would hate for all that water rentention to give me a complex, LoL.) I have a tiny frame and carry far more fat than muscle, so my goal mostly is to lose body fat, since it was tested at 30.1 percent. YIKES! Imagine my shock since I wear a size 2!

Hey every one!! I posted yesterday and there are so many of us with the same goal. How fun. I am curious what does every ones daily food and exercise program look like. For me it is not the exercise that is the problem it is the eating. I like to run and run like 4 times a week 4-6 miles during the week and sometimes 8 miles on sunday. Mon, Wed,Fri. I got to the gym do weights and 40 min cardio. During the week I CC about 1500 cal. But!! on weekend it all falls apart. I eat SOOO much. How bout yall.

The weekends are definitley the hardest for me too. There is always dining out with friends and some drinking usually. Even one dinner out can destroy my week it seems!!!!

I have been trying to run one day each weekend (either Saturday or Sunday) but I have had so much going on these past few weeks that it has been hard to fit it in.

For workouts I have been doing three days of NROLFW and then a day or two of running, depending on my schedule. NROLFW is always Mon/Wed/Fri.

Eating, I try to keep my cals between 1500- 2000 depending on my workouts.

I know that fat loss starts in the kitchen and I really want to work on not giving in to weekend temptation!!

My weekends have been so incredibly busy that it's impossible to stay on top of my game, and the next two weekends I'll be out of town. My trainer said if I know I'm going to be eating out and drinking to not only make wise choices, but save up those calories. Also, since I am doing well and losing weight at a nice pace, I don't want to blow it, so I'm more aware of what I'm eating and how much.

I work-out 5 days a week, alternating between weights+cardio and just cardio. I'm also eating about 1300-1400 calories a day and 60-80 grams of protein. At this rate, I've been losing about a pound a week. I've only lost a few, but I've noticed that some pants that weren't very forgiving are definitely fitting looser and I'm feeling great. Like I said before, for me it's about shedding body fat and gaining muscle, and not necessarily losing pounds.

The weekends have been bad for me too, I have been tracking all my calories and while I usually stay well under 2,000 during the week, with a goal of 1,400/day, on the weekend I was getting up to over 2,500 calories on some days because of eating out and going out for drinks or ice cream.  After noticing this pattern lately I've been trying to eat out less on weekends, cook at home more, and find other things to do for fun other than eating.  I think it was because of overeating on the weekends that I got stuck and was not losing weight for several months.

As far as exercise goes, I do different things, I was biking a lot a couple of months ago and commuting to work by bike but it seemed to make me feel ravenous and I even gained a few pounds, now I am doing a workout video that has an hour of weights/cardio, about 5 days a week.  Also I like to go walking, running, and biking on the weekends or when I have time.  The weights seem to be helping as I have finally started to lose a pound or two, but I just started the weights a week and a half ago.

I'm in the same boat- high BF% but wear size 2 pants. My stats;

  • 32 y/o
  • 5'6"
  • CW-122
  • GW- 118 (ish?...I'll decide what to do if when I get there)

Alexandra_jane, it sounds like maybe you have a higher BF% as well? Have you ever had it tested? I'm not sure how accurate they are, but you can do some measuring yourself and plug it in to this kind of site to get a rough idea.

I've been stuck in the lower 120's for quite a while, actually made it to 119 for three consecutive days last week, only to have Thanksgiving come along! :S

Just out of curiosity, have any of you heard other people (whether in your "real" life or on CC) say that you don't need to lose any more?

I have had people tell me that I don't need to lose any more weight, mostly my Mom, but at the same time she gushes over how great I look.

I have had a lot of negative reactions to my weight loss including one co-worker who calls me "skinny" like "Hey, here comes skinny!". Would I ever say "Hey, here comes fatty!" when she walks over? NO!!! I don't know why people are okay with calling me skinny in a negative way or a catty way, but it would be in no way acceptable for me to call them anything. Sorry- venting a little!!!!!
