Who wants to Get out of the 120's already!!!!
Hi all. I have lost weight and have currently been bouncing around the 120's for a while now. Some times up to 127 then on down to 122. My goal is 115 and I have been trying at it for months. It is now time to get serious!! I want to lose those last 10 lbs. Today I am at 125 and want to know if anyone wants to lose 10 lbs with me. We can keep each other accountable. I really think that weigh ins should be on fridays too. Before the weekend so theres not to much pressure. Any one out there??
Good luck to you all!
Now me on the other hand, I would jump up and down if I were in the 120s!
Hahah
Hey everyone! I am up a lb and a half, and TTOM is still not here!! I know its coming though because I'm cramping and craving SALT really bad. Im trying to avoid it as that makes the bloating worse.
lavender, I have a problem eating at night too sometimes. If I have a hard time falling asleep it really helps to have a snack, my problem is I keep going back for more. Then I fall asleep but sleep really badly. Trying to break that habit.
anyway, I'll settle for being back at 124 this Friday. fingers crossed.
Hey everyone just checkin in. This weekend I did not binge until I was bursting which is a big deal for me cause this is what I do every weekend and that why I have stayed in the 120's. I did eat up to 2300 on sat but that was it. I would be scared to see how many calories I have eaten on other weekends. Anyways doing good so far this week. Ran six miles on both yesterday and today. Tomorrow to the gym for some cardio and weights.
lavender,
Yeah when I was thinner I ate a lower fat diet. Now I try to eat salads with low fat dressing, Kashi cereal or oatmeal, sandwiches with low fat cheese, turkey and free mayo, fruit..etc. As for the late night binging, it is definitely hard to stop but I think once you have a couple days behind you it will be easier. I have a challenge now b/c we just bought our Halloween candy and we have 3 huge bags because there are so many kids in our neighborhood. I just keep telling myself that if I dip into it, we'll have to go out and buy more.
so my water gain is I think starting to flush out...no TTOM..so weird. I did Pilates tonight for 45 minutes. Plan to get to the gym tomorrow.
I'm STUCK at 124.1....for about 5 days
I have been keeping my 500(+) calorie deficit, yesterday I even did 90 Minutes of cardio! It is so frustrating :(
SW: 127
CW: 124.1
GW: 112
PS....I think I'm going to go back to NO/LOW Carbs for dinner, no bread or starches only green veggies with my protein. My old trainer had me do that and it seemed to work well. BUT I LOVE CARBS (so its torture). Do any of you do this???
Hey guys just checking in. Unfortunately my weight has gone up since my last post- I have officially hit the 124 mark and with extra water weight I am 125 or higher. I have however changed my eating habits finally. I cut out the peanuts which was causing me to gain and maintain this higher weight. Now its just a matter of A. Sticking with it- NO PEANUTS! and B. Being patient and just continuing to run- I HAVE to remember if I stick to good habits, I will see results within a few months, it wont be instant and thats the most frustrating thing!
How is everyone else doing?
I weighed myself this morning and I was down a whopping .2 pounds, bringing me from 121. 2 to 121. I had a bad weekend though; I went to the Packers' game and there was beer, nachos and hotdogs.
I have another weekend out of town, and as long as I don't gain, I'm ok if the scale doesn't budge, but I'm hoping to be 119 by Nov. 1.
hey. im in the exact same situation as you.

Last week- 123
Today- 122.4
I will take the half pound, slow and steady wins the race, right?????
- sw- 126
- cw- 119.2!!!!
- gw- 115-118
getting there is hard, but staying there is so much harder!
agreed, nicole. when there's not a lot to take off, the body tries to hang onto it like crazy- slow's the only way to go!
Nicole, hey at least the number is going down right?
qmwillcand: WOOHOO! You're out of the 120's! Congrats!
20 days after baby today. I was 125 when I left the hospital and I am weighing in today at 122. The weight seems to be coming off at about a pound a week. I can live with that. I have started back to a full workout regimine too. I am sure that will boost things.
So, October 5th - 125 lbs
October 16th - 123 lbs
October 24th - 122 lbs and at least 5 inches down (mostly abs) Yay!
Good to see many of you also losing. It's good to be a LOSER!
No matter how small your frame is 18.5 is considered to be the minimum healthy BMI for an adult woman by WHO standards. If you are naturally slim or have a tiny frame without dieting and as a result are below 18.5, this may not be unhealthy for you in particular, but consulting your doctor for verification is a good idea. CC and its members cannot encourage or assist you in maintaining or attempting to achieve an unhealthy weight.
Remember,
it is not all about what the number on the scale says... You can in
fact be "thinner" at a higher weight by lowering your BF% and gaining
muscle while remaining at a healthy weight. Also remember that the
more active you are, the more calories your body requires.

My BMI is 22.3, so I don't see how me trying to get to 115, which would put me at a BMI of 21 puts me anywhere near underweight.....
I don't know who the above post was referring to, but I am personally not starving myself or trying to get to an unhealthy weight!

Agreed. I don't know who this is aimed toward either, but my bodyfat was tested at 30.1, which is unhealthy. Getting down to 115 would put my BMI at 19.1. And honestly, I don't pay much attention to that because my fiance's BMI has him listed as overweight, and he slim and toned and has 16% body fat.
For me, it's all about getting rid of the fat and being at the lower end of the healthy spectrum.
It looks like both of you have laudable goals.
I believe my goal BMI is 19.3 I'm not trying to get to 18.5 or under. Not sure who this is directed at either. Also my physician gave me the OK.
As far as the weigh in...I'm still 1.5 lbs up. My TTOM is not gone yet. My goal is 123.5 next friday (that is about 2 lbs which I think will be OK). I am going to try not to eat out this weekend. The sodium always throws me off for a day or even 2. It may be unavoidable on Sunday since that's when my inlaws always take us out, but there is a place we go that has a steamed veggies, grilled shrimp and rice dish with low sodium sauce on the side. I'm going to suggest that.
Sounds like y'all are doing great!
Hi - I haven't been on here in awhile - I hope I can still join in. i'm trying to lose those last few pounds as well.
I like the idea of a Friday weigh in. Here's my first one:
CW - 120
GW - 115
Height - 5'4
Good luck everyone!
Weighed 129.5 this morning. Pretty happy with that:) Going for about 128 next week... hopefully. I am very happy with what i ate this week, no mindless snacking except for a little today after-school. And it was mostly all healthy stuff like carrots, a few almonds, some strawberries, and some pomegranate seeds...well maybe a spoonful of two of ice cream as well:P As for exercise, I did something almost everyday, except for today so far...hmmmm i wonder if i will make it to the gym, we will see. How is everyone else doing?
Pretty sure that "regulation" post was in reference to me and my goals :( ... considering all but one of my posts have been deleted! hmmmmmm....I really don't think I'm trying to be unhealthy....
