Warning: Lost 20 lbs

Quote  |  Reply

I apologize for my lack of responsibility. I lost 20 lbs sometime over the last 2 months and can't find it anywhere. I used to be very attached to it but have learned to accept it not being around any more. If fact our relationship over the last few years has been fragile as it is a bit too clingy. I found it as a little 1lb many years ago outside a pizza by the slice restaurant next to my local pub. It was so good so I took it home. It was a bit clingy and ended up growing to become a 20lb. Truthfully, I don't miss it and I'm planning to let his twin brother, which I found outside Burger King, off on the side of the road next month.

Beware! If found, don't pick up and don't take home under any circumstances.Smile

Okay, I'll keep a lookout and make sure I don't pick it up. Congratz on losing him though, those are nasty little buggers.

Funny! reminds me of what my mom said when we got outa subway. "Ashley! look at this bird **** on my window! GOSH DANGIT BIRDS! I dont **** UR STUFF!"

{{{Laughing!!!}}} Laughing VERY Well said!!!! Wink

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool

Keep on goin' 'till you lose that Evil Twin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing

'Evil,' because he Might prove 'clingy-er,' but, don't worry about him if he does-- you CAN do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool

I'm working on my 'Evil Twin,' too! Wink

congrats!keep up the good work!

I don't have evil twins... i have evil quadruplets. Tongue out

Ummm.......... That's a thought! Surprised

What do you call sets of five...? I've 'Whupped' one, nearly-half-defeated it's evil twin... then I have 3 evil siblings to vanquish one-by-one! Surprised

One day I'll be 'All-Alone,' lol!!! Laughing

Thanks for the warning, Robinrussia-- none of us need to pick up any of each other's Dangerous strays!!! Wink

No problem...

you be safe staying away from fast food restaurants and 7-11s. They are attracted to Junk food. Never seen one in the produce isle at the market...but saw lots in the chips and dips isle and some floating by the cheese.

Wink

I love the way you express the weight loss.. It made me smile.  I cant imagine for the life of me having any more then one of these strays hanging around.  Mine has been around for over  10 years and I just cant seem to loose her.  Her name is " Cling-On Long"

I can hand it to you all who finally find a way to say GOOD BY forever to those strays.  I will try to divorce mine soon or Ill be at the Drs office popping Medication as my numbers dont look good and he is not happy.. Its all in my family the heart attach, strocks.. Diabeties.. cant spell it correct yet probably and that may be a good thing.

The only thing that I have lost in the last 10 years is Mr. Will Power.  If any of you see him will you send him my way. Please ensure he does not like pizza , fast food or donuts.. because Mr. McDow, loves that junk. so it makes it harder to find Mr. Will Power and keep him around.

So keep your ears and eyes open for him and send him my way.  I find the summers on vacation hard when you visit family and they just want to feed you the latest thing they made" I knew you were coming so I made this for you" I just cant say NO. but a little here and there made up for a few  more "Cling On's"

When putting things out into the universe, be careful what you say.  A better way to state it is:  I gave back 20 pounds.  If you lost something.. you want it back.  To give away.. MEANS IT'S GONE FOREVER".

oh hell -- you mean that was yours????  I KNEW I shouldn't have picked up the "little" bugger, much less fed it -- now how am I going to get rid of it???

Too little warning, too late

congrats, by the way

Good Reply.. I will keep in mind to not introduce myself to it.. New way of thinking.  I will give away 20 pounds to the lowest bidder.. hahaha

I hope it wants friends cause I gave away 11.5lbs as of yesterday...=) soon it will have 46 more lbs coming its way...=)

Though I have a tendency to lose just about EVERYTHING I posess, I must boast that I have a constant knowledge of the whereabouts of my 43 lbs.  This could possibly be because I am such a good caretaker and have been doing everything in my power to make sure it doesn't leave. ( Between you and me, this relationship is starting to weigh on me, and I have been gathering my courage to ask it to move out....)  Reading your posts and seeing how your lives have not only gone on, but IMPROVED since your breakups is giving me the courage to take the first steps.  Wish me luck!

I absolutely fell on the floor while reading your wonderful description of your loss of the 20 lbs.  I have often wondered where all the fat goes when we lose it.  Is there a special place in Heaven where it floats around?  Don't worry, I won't pick it up if I do happen to come across it...   I like the idea of it going to the lowest bidder, too!   And as for adding to the pile by the side of the road, CC is a great place to give it lots of new friends!!!  Thanks for the uplift this morning!!!  Tongue out

I know what you mean.  I also have lost that 20 lbs.  Unfortunately my daughter found it and is now try to give it to someone else.Cool Keep up the good work and watch out for the 5 lbs outside McDonalds.

Still laughing Laughing I have trouble with them coming back too fast,  lost 75 of the little b's and 32 came back over the last year so trying to find a good home for them so they stay away perminently, nearly as bad as kids they move out and next thing you know their back lol

thinking of Moving house to a smaller one so they cant come back thats the kids sorted just have to find the best way to get rid of the pounds

Thanks you have really cheered me up today

Had friends of ours who moved into a motor home full-time for the exact same reason.... LOL!  I laughed, too, at the vision of those little buggers running around trying to find new places to stick to....  not here, thank you very much!!!Tongue out

Hilarious!  I myself always offer to be a "fat donor" to my skinny little friend who is desperatly trying to gain weight. Wouldn't it be great if there was a Red Cross kinda group that dealt in fat instead of blood where you could donate? or receive donations? I know it's just as hard for my friend to gain weight as it has been for me to loose it.

Hello winstonbird, your skinny friend might have bacteria in his gut you really want. The bacteria in his gut are really bad at processing food. Where our bacteria might be really good at it. Did you know that without the bacteria in our gut we would eat twice as much and weigh 30% less? Try to get hold of some of his "bad-at-processing-bacteria", market them and you'll make a fortune.

I'd like to encourage science to pursue this subject and market it within two weeks please! lol

Haha!  Funny!  Way to go!  I've got triplets I'm trying to get rid of....

I love this. I want to put it on my fridge or something.
