my mum eats two of those with quark and homemade jam for breakfast every single day. I like them, there's a whole variety of different kinds, most of them (or even all of them?) whole wheat. i think they're healthy.
sure, they're low calorie and moderate amount of fiber for the cals...
Oh my new favorite lunch "sandwich" is a Wasa rye cracker spread with garlic/herb laughing cow cheese and a slice of light turkey breast .... SO good!
Thats sounds yummy. I'll have to try it! Im getting tired of salads.
These are yummy and my nutritionist reccommended them.
I like the light laughing cow cheese on them too!!! Amazing!!! Or light cream cheese, or a slice of ff american, or pb, or anything really.....
I can't find them anywhere? I looked in the cookie isle and nothing...? What isle are they in?
Oprah show last week show on diet( with Bob Greene) had made them more popular. they are available at Whole Food stores and Trader Joe's.
I love Wasa, however the only place I have been able to find them in this area is the commissary on the air force base.  Wal-Mart and most of the grocery stores I've checked have never even HEARD of them.  So when I am able to tag along with my friend to the commissary, I get a few packages to hold me over.  I love the sesame and the multigrain ones the most.  I put a light spreading of low-fat cream cheese on the crackers, or low-fat spreadable cheese.  Can also melt cheese on it (can you tell I love cheese??).  Could probably do stuff like jams/jellies, or fresh fruit.  They are heartier than most crackers you see on the shelves.

As for aisle, typically either the cracker aisle, or the aisle that has the 'health food' stuff.

If you can't find them at your local store, then try the Swede Shop at IKEA. They would probably have Wasa and other brands of knäckebröd as well.
is this similar to Ry-Vita?  thanks
My Shop Rite carries them.  I like the light rye version--so yummy!
They are like Rye Krisp.  I find them on the top shelf in the bread aisle of the supermarket.  Why there, I do not know.  It makes no sense.  If you can't find them, ask the store manager.
I find them at Wal-Mart even near the nutrion bars like Pria and Zone bars.  They are awesome and really good broken into pieces stirred into your soup for little more substance.
