She's doing good today.  Very positive mood and I'm thankful for that.

She wants a pet lion though.  I'm not touching that today.  I just keep saying, "Interesting."

Okay I'm staying out of most posts today.  And I'm getting caught up at work so I might not be in chat as much.

I love you guys, but today I have to focus on getting my stuff done.  I've been way too lazy on certain things this week.

I've been out of Chat for awhile getting my stuff done.  It happens.

mine had a total meltdown a week ago - all or nothing overacheiver perfectionists are a special challenge... anyways, she is a soph at UT and called me and said i need my mommy. so i went and picked her up on campus fed her took her to work and watched her melt down.

she is not making all As and seriously thinks she is a total failure. EMBRACE THE B!!!! is not an easy lesson. she was so overwhelmed by classes and work and no sleep and registration for next semester and omg.

today one week later - she has discussed her hours at work with her boss and compromised cutting hours, registered and gotten in her classes - that was real iffy, completely ignored 2 tests she can drop (gasp YAY) and is caught up on her sleep.

for this i am thankful. :)

WG--It's tough to watch the meltdowns but at least she is figuring it out and making it work.  I still have meltdowns after a few days with no sleep.

mine still wants a pet penguin. her landlord wont even let them hang pictures, i doubt very seriously she would allow a penguin in her house. just sayin...

Came in this morning and my monitor has a line going right across the middle of the screen.  It's not annoying or anything.......*twitch*

girls are sooooo tricky. so much drama! so much emotional roller coaster! oy. dont know what i would do without her!

when i hugged her last week she wouldnt let go. she dug a package of old gross hot chocolate mix out of my pantry and brought it me and put her head on my shoulder. girl is 20. of course this is after she screamed at me all the way home from my work and i left her in the car. thank god i only live 3 miles from work haha.
