My watch has always been just a little bit snug on my wrist. Suddenly it's loose! How much fat could I have possibly had stored on my wrist? Evidently enough that it is changing the fit of my watch. I guess I may eventually have to have another link taken out. I'm not complaining here - but would prefer my body reconsider its priorities - go for the fat stored on my jaw first!! ![]()

You always hear about people tightening their belts but I also had to tighten my watch band a knotch.
My uncle is a personal trainer, and when I lost a great deal of weight recently, I lost 2 notches on my carebear watch! When asked him why, he told me that a body always loses its fat on the limbs first because all the other fat on your torso and butt (not specifically you, that came out wrong lol) keeps /us/ warm.
Congrats! That means your losing weight and should be proud of yourself. Now you made me decide to go put a watch on to see how loose it gets * giggles behind my hand.
Tightened my watch strap, moved rings from third to middle finger, and can wear turtlenecks and regular width shoes! And that's after only 30 LBS! Can't wait to se what else shrinks with the next 30!!
Congratulations!!! I tightened my belt, and my rings fall off my fingers now. . .the strangest thing that I don't realize these things until someone else mentions it. . .so thank you for making me notice my achievements. . . Have a wonderful day!!!
Congrats!!
A show I watch called I Lost It about ppl and their weighloss success the one show they had a lady on there who still wears her old watch from before when she was over 100lbs heavier its now more like a big large bracelet that moves all around and she said its her little reminder that if that band gets anywhere near the tight end of her wrist, its time to start kicking her butt and making sure she is on track with her eating and exercising......

No kidding. Watch and my shoes are all huge too -- who knew I stored fat in my feet? And they weren't "wide" shoes -- I am needing shorter shoes, although my guess is that some of it was width stretching the sides of the shoes and maybe making them feel shorter?
