Watched Chamber of Secrets again last night...
Remember that scene where Harry, Hemione and Ron find the first threatening message on the wall; "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir beware"?
Hermione then says the message is written in blood. In the book, wasn't it just paint?
And where did Ginny get blood from? Ewww....
Hey! I'm new here but, I'm currently rereading the books in anticipation of the movie coming out in July. Anyway, I think its blood in the book, but I can check. Also, maybe Ginny got the blood from the chickens he made her kill. IDK...
Hi and Welcome, Chrsty!
I think I do remember something about some chickens being murdered; I bet you're right. Thanks!
Yeah, it's definitely blood because Ginny went around killing Hagrid's chickens because their cry is fatal to a basilisk. Happy reading!
Ahhh the ol' sinister paint routine : D
I need to read the 6th book again before the film finally comes out...
I have never been one to completely look forward to the opening of a movie before, and definitely never been one to go out on opening night! I might have to change that with this one! Since I started rereading and rewatching the other books and movies, I have gotten so excited to see the 6th movie. I'm just afraid of being disappointed because of the PG rating. IDK....we'll see.
You're braver than me! I would NEVER go to a HP movie on opening night! I shudder to imagine the chaos.
I have, however, gone to midnight release parties for the last two books. Those were fun! But it was at a small town bookstore. I imagine it would be a little crazier in a bigger city. :)
Oh my! You don't know what your missing! I not only go to the movie opening night but I also go to the midnight release of the movie the night before! It is a bit crowded and you need to get there early and sit in line for about an hour or two but everyone dresses up and it is awesome! You would be suprised to see all the age differences and who people dress up as. It's a bit crazier than the midnight book release.
It's usualy me(21), my momma(42), my brother (18), family friend (18) and cousins (18-20). We have the best time, we even dress up.
