I've recently decided I'm not going to go on my almost nightly eating of a bunch of cookies and crap. So a few nights ago when I opened up the cabinet, I was like 'NO!'. So I went over to the sink and started drinking a lot of water pretending like it was desserts lmao. I'm glad I love water. I know you can die from drinking too much water, but that it's almost impossible.

7 1/2 liters is a lot, but not impossible...
Well I mean it's not like I drink water until I feel sick...
Lol, i thoght you were going to say how guilty you felt for binging!! Haha
the only problem with too much water is
1 you feel so full you cant eat food = starvation
2 You flush out nutrients.
But if you're eating cookies, i doubt you need to be worried. :D Good to see you like water.

I just read an article that said once you start drinking the correct amount of water (or more than you used to) you will have to go to the bathroom very frequently. But after a few days your body will see that it's getting more water than you used to and you won't have to go as much. What happens if you stop drinking all that water? Will it really screw up your body?
it helps me to drink water too. when i watch tv (i dont do it a lot but i have some shows that i MUST watch lol) but anyways when i watch tv i am always eating something like cookies or potatoe chips or something extremely unhealthy. now, instead of doing that i get a water bottle and drink that. it also helps to have a water bottle that has a twisty lid (like the propel ones) then you can play with it with you mouth (lol) and you have something for your mouth to do, cuz sometimes i feel like i eat cuz my mouth is bored, so having a water bottle instead of food helps me a lot
I drink lots of water too. I do the same thing about keeping it around while I'm watching TV to keep me from neverending snacking. I actually keep it around with me everywhere now. Scorpiogirl, I never thought about the twist lid to play with in your mouth. that sounds like a good idea!
I love water as well. Lipton singles green and white tea packets make it all the more fun. Satisfies sweet cravings pretty well at 0 cal. Apple cranberry and honey lemon are my favorites.
Just curious... How much water is actually bad? I know that 2L per day is a suggested minimum bur per day what is a max? It's only 5:30 and I've already had those 2L.

Well supposedly 7 1/2 liters is fatal (from an earlier post). I haven't looked it up, so I don't know how much would be bad but still keeps you living (lol if that makes any sense).
two liters of water a day as a minimum is excessive for certain body weights and appropriate for others, the amount of water required varies according to your body weight. i've always heard as a rule of thumb to determine how much water you should drink per day: take your body weight, divide it in two and drink that number in ounces per day. example: if you weigh 120 pounds, drink 60 ounces of water a day to maintaine optimum body function, flush toxins etc. if you want to lose weight, you should increase this number slightly.
it is recommended to remain healthy you need to take in enough water to replace what you lose daily through perspiration and excretion of waste. do consider that food (esp produce) contains water as well.
