Can you have too much of it?  I know you can drink to much at once.  But is there such a thing as too much spread out in a day?

I think in most cases water is one of those things where you don't want any more long before you have enough to be bad for you.  There are reports of drinking too much at once, but those are usually atheletes on marathons type of circumstances.

Drink enough that your urine is light, but not so much that your stomach hurts or you have to go every 15 minutes.

yes but it is an outrageous amount.

Nearly all deaths related to water intoxication in normal individuals have resulted either from water drinking contests, in which individuals attempt to consume more than 1 liter (0.22 imp gal; 0.26 U.S. gal) of water over the course of just a few minutes, or long bouts of intensive exercise during which electrolytes are not properly replenished, yet massive amounts of fluid are still consumed.  (from wikipedia)

here is a calculator for your optimum water intake:

Mine calculates to 6 (16.9) oz bottles per day.

Yea! As the others said. Water is your friend!!!!! Love it and always have it with you! Tongue out
