I have a question for you all. I have greatly increased my water intake over the past several days. I am drinking 3 bottles while at work and than an additional 2 in the evening at home. Does your body ever get used to this as to where I am not using the bathroom every 45 minutes??? I am getting a little embarrased about walking by everyone here at work to go to the bathroom....AGAIN!!
Whats your thoughts?

that happened to me when I started drinking more water-- I especially had problems with waking up in the middle of the night having to go. However, apparently I've gotten used to it and now I couldn't imagine giving up my water. It's indispensable for helping keep my calories low.
edit; PS. I still have to pee more often than I did before. But I now know how DEHYDRATED I was before! I feel much better overall this way.
You do get used to it. Not sure if it's that your bladder gets stronger, or if it's a "mental" thing LOL!
I drink over 100fl oz a day, but I cut myself soon after dinner so I'm not having to get up in the night. Even then, I still have to get up around 4:30 or so, an hour before my alarm goes off!

Yeah, so far I don't have this problem during the night. Maybe oncea night, but not usually. I also try to cut myself off around 8 or so. But jeepers! I think my co-workers keep thinking......AGAIN?? HA! Maybe I am just paranoid.
Yeah but you know ever since I started really "managing" my diet, I'm hyper aware of what other people are eating, too. And it's none too impressive believe me! Don't worry about what they think.
Ditto the above!!! drink That Water!!!
I too go to the bathroom every 45 minutes, I drink all my water during the day and, I try to limit my water intake in the evenning so I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to pee.
I guess I'm lucky! Most of my co-workers try to drink plenty of water too, so we all joke about running to the loo all the time!
I do tend to pee more often when I am at home because I can. But I do notice that when I am out and there is not toilet readily available I can go for hours without a sudden urge. Maybe it is psychological. Keep drinking that water!!
