I'm trying to keep track of my water intake as well as calories consumed and burned. I know you can add water to your food log, although I feel like a bit of an idiot doing it for some reason, haha
Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to get a sort of water-intake meter? Or even just a little box where you could enter glasses of water per day...? Sounds silly, but I would really find it helpful.
This is such a good idea!!! I feel like we are always being reminded of the benefits of water, but you are right, I don't add water to my log simply because it feels silly to add something with no calories or nutritional value.
Having a water-intake meter with suggested oz per day according to height, weight, & activity level would be so great!
So.. in other words... I second this request!!!!
I think it would help me too.. I struggle to get the water in that I need!
Haha, good to hear I'm not alone
This would definitely help keep track of daily water intake. We're so used to logging everything we put in our mouth, it would be great to have a tool to keep track of the amount if water as well.
I totally agree. I'm trying to drink more water and it would be very helpful if there was a meter for it on Calorie Count.
I would be such a big plus if I was able to tract all my water and see if I had enough for that day...met a goal. It would be nice if it was separate from the other food log. Great thinking!
I just came to this forum to post this exact same suggestion! Good thing I read through some past threads before starting my own. :) YES, I totally agree that there needs to be a water meter; maybe an empty bottle that "fills up" as you add your water intake, or even just a meter like the burn and eat meters (except blue colored, of course). I really hope they implement something like this - I think it would remind people about their water intake, too. I wish we could make this request stand out from all the others, like, flashing texts and big bold letters... lol. :)
I totally agree!
I am not sure how much water I am "supposed" to drink. So I have been drinking about 4 liters a day (or trying anyway)
If I had something that told me if that was a good amount it would be really helpful! GREAT idea!
Hm, I couldn't make the title bold, but I added some exclamation marks to it to make it stand out...
Maybe if we get enough posts on here then something will happen?
I too want this feature. I know I can track water elsewhere. But I am going to use Calorie Count, I may as well enter my water here. But it's a pain to look at my log so far for the day and see how I am doing on water. It would be nice if CC added a water meter based on water entries in your food log. Even if CC didn't want to suggest how much water I need to drink, I would at least like to be able to manually enter my water goals and then see a meter for it.
Another vote for a separate water meter.
I too came here to post that! Most of the time I remember to drink enough, but today, no way. So I would love a water meter!
Excellent idea!!! I hope it can be added! ![]()
There is not currently a seperate water meter.
You can enter your water in your food log. It's not as pretty, but it does work if you do it.
For most adults 6-8 8oz glasses of water a day is enough. More if you are doing heavy workouts. You do get some water from fruits and veggies as well as other liquids, but beware caffeinated tea and coffee as your only water source.

So you can keep track of what you eat - which enables you to analyze your foods and receive the following:
- Health Score of your overall diet
- Warning when you approach your daily calorie limit
- Overview of the good and bad nutrients
