I drink a ton of water. Like 2 gal a day. Granted I go to the bathroom alot and I feel very full from it but what does drinking all that water do for your body and does that add weight to your body?

Water is very good for you-- it keeps you hydrated, it cleans out your body and can generally make you feel so much better than if you had not been drinking it. Also, by replacing things like sodas and coffee etc with water-- you're cutting out quite a large amount of extra calories!
I am also under the impression that it helps you digest what food you eat better. In addition-- if you have the urge to eat really late or too much-- drinking water helps give you that full impression so you don't over eat. =)

I think if you keep your sodium at a healthy level (under 2000mg works best for me), then all that water's not a prob.
I had some water with a wedge of lemon in it last night when I felt a munchy attack coming on and it REALLY helped me thru the rough spot!

It is possible to drink too much, however
It doesn't add weight to your body because fluid pushes fluid, you eventually will pee out all that water :P It's so important to drink 8-10 glasses a day or roughly half your body weight in ounces. Water helps fiber pass through our bodies, if you do eat foods high in sodium is helps with not retaining the fluid and in general you tend to eat less when you drink lots of water. I read one study where a group of people consumed 100-200 calories less a day by drinking more water. Drink up :D
drinking lots of water is an very great habit.
Water can do so much for you! It hydrates you, flushes out your toxins, it moisturizes your skin and helps to keep it good and young, helps you to lose weight because it makes hunger and thirst more distinguishable, helps with your bowel movements better than anything, reduces your risk of many diseases, etc. etc. etc.
