Thanks :) I eat every 2-3 hours around 3500-4000cals a day; seems to be doing the trick.

Abbi, I am not eating enough calories, that is one thing I know. I am well aware of what I need to do as I've been told by so many people - family, friends, medical professionals, not to mention the good people on this forum.
I just have such a conflict going on in my head between my sensible voice and my ED voice. And I'm sorry to say my ED voice wins out every time at the moment.
I am seeing a therapist about this, in an attempt to change my mindset and feel comfortable about food like I used to many years ago. I have to think of food as a fuel and not a poison.
Also, I'm an exercise addict which of course does not help because that obviously increases my calorie needs even more.
What a mountain it is to climb!!

The key lies with in you. For many years I looked for the answer or easy way to recover. There is none. Every day is a battle and I am constantly hearing the ed voice but I know it is part of recovery. Waycat I used to be an exercise addict and really you need to stop. I have a condition now that does not allow it but even in the past I know you must give it up until your mind and body is healthy. I ended up in a cardiac unit due to the combo as a teen. You don't want that. You need to use the tools and support you have. You can do it but it will be super hard.

Thanks for your words of encouragement Abbi - they mean alot to me, and I'm sure to others aswell.
I realise and understand the dangers about exercising while underweight. I wish I could be more relaxed about it, I really do.
I'm hoping my sessions with my therapist will help.......
No problem. I am here anytime. I understand feeling the anxiety but you must. You will see in time that the fears and anxiety are worse then the reality.
