Is there a way i can help myself w/o a doctor?

I  am 22, 6'1 and weigh about 178. i find that after i work out, it takes my body longer to recover than previous years. Also, i tend to get more tierd quickly during workouts. Like i struggle doing both cardio and lifting in the same session. similarly, if i stop working out for a few weeks, it becomes soo easy getting out of shape due to metabolism.

Are you eating enough?

Taking proper breaks?

I'd also ask 'are you eating enough'.... and getting a balanced diet.  With your stats and assuming you're doing between half an hour and an hour of exercise per day you need about 3000 - 3300 cals a day to maintain your weight and function properly.  If you don't get enough energy (calories) you'll run out of steam quicker.  If your diet is imbalanced (e.g. not enough carbohydrates) you can find stamina is an issue.  If your diet is nutritionally poor you can also find you're lacking in important nutrients... iron deficiency being a common reason for fatigue and muscle-weakness.  Getting good quality sleep is another way to improve your energy levels.  Even if you don't 'work out' every day, try to be as active as possible in other ways e.g. walking instead of taking the car.

Obviously, if you are eating enough, if your diet is balanced and if you're getting plenty of nourishment & sleep and you're still feeling fatigued then maybe talk to your doctor.

ditto to all the above. and,

i am finding attending to my complex carbs (whole grains, fresh veggies) and my daily protien intake to be very helpful with energy and stamina. increasing my protein has been really helpful in maintaining energy levels, (and seems to have helped with mood!).

iron deficiency can impact energy as well. although many people shun red meet, i find i feel better if i eat it every few weeks (usually corresponds with my cycle).

are you taking a good multi-vitamin? some people find that makes a difference.

there is lots of good information on cc, the nutritional analysis in the food log will break out the % of your intake, which can be really helpful to monitor how your doing day to day and in the big picture.

and, if your still feeling poorly, and feel you've looked at all the diet/nutrition issues, do seek some professional input.

best.
