Ways to grow taller
I swear I haven't been growing for the last 3 years.
I hope my age didn't stop the height,
because most people grow faster when they are between 12-14.
And all my friends who were once shorter than me, are now REALLY tall!

So what are some things that can help you grow taller?
I heard that drinking milk helps you grow taller.
And eating dark green vegetables.
I also heard that skipping helps too,
but I've been skipping rope almost everyday in the summer and I'm still 5"1 !
Any other adivce?!
Thanks!
You need to eat adequate amounts of food.
Beyond that, height is mostly a genetic thing. How tall are your parents, grandparents, siblings?
But my dad's 5"10.
Hey strawberry!
Don't sweat it! I'm 22, and not even 5'0"!!!!!! I haven't grown ONE BIT since I was in the 5th grade!! Some people just have their growth spurts earlier than other....
And, my parents are average height - my mom is 5'4" and my dad is about 5'10". BUT, I take after my dad's side of the family, and his mom was barely 5'1"!
It's all about genetics... I don't think there are any such ways to actually make your "grow" taller. Drinking milk and eating veggies help you stay healthy and build strong bones to prevent osteoporosis (sp?) later in life!
This probably didn't make you feel any better- but there is NOTHING WRONG with being small!! :)
Liek wearing really cute outfits that are only sold in the children's department.
But then I really want to be AT LEAST 5"6 or 7

The average female in America is 5'5"
In the end, no one is going to care how tall/short you are, and if they do, then they're not worth your time anyway.
I agree with dm84 in that most people who are worth your time won't care how tall you are.
Make sure you are getting good, adequate nutrition, especially at your age. My doctor told me that if people don't get enough food at the age when they are supposed to go through their growth spurt, it's likely that they will never make it up later on.
Height varies quite so it's hard to predict. Everyone in my family is TALL. My mom is 5'10, my sister is 5'11, my dad is 6'2 and my brother is 6'4. Then there's me - just pushing 5'6. I'm above average in the real world, but considered tiny when I'm at home. Everyone makes fun of me because the house was customized for my parents and I can never reach anything in the cabinets. It was nice to get into my own apartment and be able to put glasses where I could get them without a stool.
Don't worry too much about your height. Plenty of tall people would like to be shorter. None of us can change so there's no reason to worry about it.
count your blessings--you can wear heels without looking like you're trying too hard. at almost 5'10 i'm way too shy to wear heels lol.
you're 15 though, which means there's still hope for you to grow. i heard that girls grow for about 3 years after they get their period.
Strawberry--you are sooo lucky!! Short is the way to go. I thought I would be really tall when I was 11--I was already 5'1 and 3/4s. Taller than most. Then I stopped growing. It meant I was no longer the faster runner but I got to wear all the high heels I wanted. Also, I never feel short. For some reason I feel about 5'6" and am shocked when I see myself with my husband in a reflection (he's more than a foot taller than me).
You may still grow some but even at 5'1" you're taller than your mom :)
Embrace who you are--that's all that really matters.
You are who you are
Besides, the best things come in smaller packaging.
you still have time!! im what you might call a "late bloomer"..i didnt start my cycle until i was 16, and when all my friends reached their permanent height at 16ish, i kept growing until i was 18. i'll be 19 in feb. and i'm 5'6".
When did you start your cycle? that might tell you if you should be done growing yet. Women usually continue to grow for 2 years after their first cycle.
there's still hope =) and even if you dont grow, short people rock!
However, yoga can sometimes make you up to an inch taller if you do it frequently. But as soon as you cut it out of your routine for a few weeks you'll drop back to your original size.
i want to grow taller as wel but i jus dun kno what to try, i did some research on the net and found http://www.heightsecrets.com and im gona do some more research on this site but im eager to learn how to increasse my height
Do be sure to eat healthy foods; lots of veggies and calcium and things, but don't expect to grow much. Sorry.
I'm 5'0" and I'll be 21 in a month; I definitely haven't grown since I was 15. It's kind of a bummer, but you'll get used to it. If your doctor doesn't seem to be concerned about your height/lack of growing, just try to accept it.
P.S. Our parents are the same height; mom 5', dad 5'10".
Embrace it.
I grew an inch and a half from the time I was 15 to the time I was 17, just saying. You can continue to grow up until about 21, although I doubt you'll shoot up 6-7 inches, you never know...you'll learn to embrace being short or at least deal with it as time goes on and maybe you'll be surprised to learn one day that you've grown a few more inches.
It riddles me so much with quite an anger when people keep saying it's GENETICS, well apparently IT'S JUST IN YOUR MIND! Do NOT I repeat DO NOT believe people saying it's "Hereditary-Genetics" when it's not! Now's the time for YOU to put that to test! I've seen people taller than they're parents because they are fed and adequately nutritioned in this great country of America- Where surplus of growth additions from vitamins to your ordinary milk are supplied! And you need to take that to an advantage! It's the current world today and nothing really solidifies the theory that Height comes naturally and only from genetics- Well if it does then surely there are taller ancestors way way past your great grandparents and surely you have they're secret genetics in you! All you have to do is to believe in yourself! Yes you can still grow a couple inch or two- Nothing is impossible not even some lousy put down comments on your height would stop if a person believes in himself/herself! There are other options like surgery? but that can have side effects- But for me I do not believe in genetics- My blood line has a long story but today- Well everyday starts a new- You can keep working to be your best- body and mind and that will suit you enough to grow atleast just an inch or two- or perhaps believe! Genetics does not count- Only the while old caucasians put that to the test but that theory is not a claimed fact!
On the go andin the know.
