Do you wear a Sports Bra?
Is it really necessary to wear a sports bra when working out? Does it make a huge difference? I use my apartment complex's exercise room (I just use the treadmill) but no one else EVER comes in so I always just wear two t-shirts or a shirt + a sweat shirt. My size is about 34 B.
No, but I'm a guy :-P
Its never a bad idea. want to keep the girls under control and where they belong :)
Well I'm going to Sports Authority today to buy some new dumbbells. (I like using dumbbells when powerwalking on the treadmill each day.) Maybe they'll have some inexpensive sports bras there.
I always wear a sports bra and Im an A cup, but I wear one not for control but because my regular bra straps fall off.
My roommate on the other hand has D size boobs and doesn't wear one because they lack support she says.
I have not been able to find a sports bra that fits.
However I have a few Nike tops with hidden support in them does the trick. The tops are made for up to DD and i squeeze my H's into it... believe me nothing is moving them when Im wearing my Nike tops hehe.
I am a C cup and definitely wear a sports bra, even thought its hard to find them supportive enough. Even if you have a smaller cup size, I'd imagine all that bouncing around could stretch out the muscles or whatever your breasts consist of, causing them to sag more than they would otherwise (especially when you're older!), so the more support, the better, I say.
I will not even think of exercising without one. I'm a DD now, but even when I was a B, I had to have one. I think it's a good idea to prevent bouncing and injury.
When you know you need one, you really need one! If I don't have a sports bra on, there's a ton of bouncing going on and it's pretty painful. If you have to ask, you either don't need one or don't need it very badly.
I would find the bouncing without one pretty painful for my DDs. Not to mention it would be pretty distracting to everyone else at the gym if I wasn't wearing one:) I use a sports bra made by Underarmor and it keeps them in check much better than my regular bras.
I'm now a D cub and I always wear one, but I wore one even back when I was a B. I don't like to feel the girls bouncing around, and I don't like the friction and sore nipples that I get if I don't wear one.
I'm pretty small in the busty area but I always wear a sports bra. They keep the twins where they're supposed to be! Now if only I could get a bra for my butt, cuz it definitely jiggles a lot more than the front of me....ok, I know, tmi.
If you want a cheap sports bra, you might be able to get one at Walgreens. I got mine there and I think it was less than $10. It's a Hanes brand. They have them in the pantyhose/underwear section. I think if you're a 34 B, you can get away with buying a cheap one. I know I can :)
If you don't wear one you may risk them getting saggy before their time. I just use cheap 12$ ones from Walmart, and while not as comfortable as an expensive one probably is, they do the trick.

Lol yeah when it comes to my "rack" I have never really been too blessed. But I have a big booty though! =D
Although I'm still gonna get a couple for the protection.
I always wear a sports bra...even when I'm not working out!
I love feeling umm..strapped down, I guess, while I'm exercising! haha =P It seems like regular bras just move right along with the girls.
I wear sports bras when I'm not exercising too, just because I love the tight feeling and I like having a smaller chest. That was one of the reasons I started losing weight!
My FAVORITE one is the one I got at Walmart for like, $13 I think. It's from Best Form and I got the high impact one...feels wonderful!
YES! sports bras are a must! i wear two on top of eachother, even though i'm only a B. i'm afraid of getting saggy !
wear a sports bra! :)
Right now I'm wearing a sports bra over top of a regular bra. Once I get my next paycheck I'm going to go out and buy a couple new sports bras and wear them both at the same time, I'm a DD, and it hurts if I don't have any support. If you wear a tight shirt, however, it might work just as well. I always wear a really baggy shirt when I'm working out right now.
