Website to buy protien bars?

Quote  |  Reply

I was wondering if anyone knew of websites where you can buy protein bars (or meal bars that contain at least 8 grams of protein such as the Special K brand) in bulk. I've been going through them like crazy and they are kind of pricey. I don't have any specialty stores near me that sell them in boxes so I've been dishing out $2 or $3 per bar in the pharmacies. Buying them in bulk would be more convenient and probably cheaper in the long run.

www.amazon.com   This is the best place online I have found and the shipping is generally free for orders over $25.00. They have a really good selection of bars.

Oh, I didn't know Amazon sold edibles. Cool.

I checked GNC's site and I'm surprised they don't sell protien bars. Just whey and meal replacement powder to make shakes which isn't my thing.

I generally buy Special K bars at Walmart with a whole box  of 6 in the food aisle for less than $3.00 @box.  Maybe what you're looking for is not what I'm buying.  Good luck on your search.

love using amazon.com for many things, inlcuding dry roasted edamame, coffee, etc.

You might also try Big Lots to see what they may have for protein bars. They get a lot of different bars and I know we've seen Special K there more than once.

However, if you have the time and you would like to save yourself some money, invest in some protein powder and you can easily make your own bars, allowing you to control the amount of protein and what you want in your bar.

For example, throw together some Special K Cereal, Almonds, Honey and Whey protein. Mix it together and throw it in the fridge. Better of getting some recipes off the net.

That makes sense, thanks for the tip! I going to try that.
