Wedding tonite... FOOD!

Quote  |  Reply
I have a wedding tonite.  Not really into it. It is someones daughter from my wifes job.  Anyway,  I always love the food at weddings.  Especialy the coktail hour.  Always better then the dinner.  Anyway I am trying to eat very light today before tonite but I just dont want to be starving right before I leave so that I pig out!  Granted I only have like 10 punds more to loose but I just dont want this to screw me up.   Any advice?

eat some nuts and drink a broth before the wedding it'll make you feel fuller and you'll eat less =o)
... and also plan on exercise and aerobics for the next three days.

skip the doughnutty type desserts and pies and such for sure!

don't beat yourself up over it, and have fun!
I'm probably the worst person to ask about this because it's my feeling that how often are you at a wedding (not applicable if you're a planner or caterer, ok)? I know it's really easy to start telling yourself "ok, how often do I cheat like this" and before you know it the answer to that question is 10 times a week.

I guess what I'm saying is it's a wedding, have some fun and don't stress out over extra calories. Don't you dance those off anyway?
I Like the carving stations.  Good Turkey, Roast beef and ham there.  Also I think I will also fill up on the grilled veggies.
