Ok... Wednesday Start, Looking for people who need to lose 50 plus pounds for weight loss buddies
Ok, I weighed myself yesterday, and was completely crushed. I weighed 230, last time I lost weight I was 164 at one point, I vowed to never get over 200 again. I need to do something. I need to get healthy. It will not be easy and I cannot do it alone. So,I would like to form a group of weight loss buddies. We can do weigh-ins on Wednesdays? and we can chat either through posts, or we can exchange screen names for aim or yahoo and meet once a week to vent.

Sounds a little like me. I started at 220lbs and am currently at 169, but not stopping soon. I have already lost over 50 so dont have quite that much to lose. But I do have at least another 20 to go and since it sounds as though we starteda t the same place I can definitely help along the way if you want :) Good luck!
I'm very interested! I started CC at 270 in July and I'm currently at 240(5'7 tall). Would you be opposed to a Thursday weigh in? I do a weigh in for another group on Thursday's so it would fit that schedule.
I need to lose a little over 40 lbs. I had twins in January, and the weight is just not coming off. I would love to email, or I have MSN Chat. We just started a weight loss competition at work as well. I just started actually using the website on a daily basis on Monday so I am just starting out on this site. I am currently at 174 and am needing to get down to about 130-135. I eat fast food almost everyday, and drink ALOT of soda. I am cutting back my fast food to only once per week, and reducing my cola intake, just not ready to give that up yet.
I am in.. I need to lose 60 lbs or a little more..:) I am a little older than yall but I could really use some motivation..I have gained roughly 25 pounds in the last few months.. thyroid is totally out of wack and the synthroid is not helping yet..
Now this is a group i can be apart of...I am a 34 yr old female, I'm 5'8 and I started July 21st at 242 and as of today I'm 200. I still have another 50lbs to lose, I workout 7 days a week, and I drink approx 100oz of water daily (they say your supposed to divide you weight and that's how much water you should have a day) Im so so sick of water I could scream. Anyway I would love to be apart of this buddy group if I can.
you can weigh in on Thursday. I need to weigh in on Wens because thats when I can get to a scale.

Count me in...I also weigh 228 (started the Biggest Loser at the gym on Oct. 1 at 231) I am very interested in the support because even though I am working out and dieting I have only lost weight the first week.
Working out for me this week is NOT going to happen.. I have the Flu.. Yay!! LOL I have been home from work the past two days, and have been told by my doc to stay home. All I can do is walk into the kitchen make some tea and crawl back on the couch. Uggg. How are we going to post our weigh ins?
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be part of this group! I am 33 yrs old, 5'6'', and weigh about 220 lbs. I almost cried when I saw that number last week! I need a support group for this journey as well. Thanks for getting this started!

I'd like to join your weightloss group. I am female, 27 years, 5'5' (165-167 cms) high and currently weigh 185.64 lbs (84 kgs). I started my weight loss journey on 22nd August, 2009 at 192.27 lbs (87 kgs).
I weighed in today (Wednesday) but I don't weigh in every Wednesday as I usually do it every ten days. So, every time it's a different day of the week but I defnitely weigh in regularly.
I'm losing weight very slowly but surely. I definitely need weight loss buddies and would love to support others too. I would like to join your group to seek support and offer the same on this journey.

I'm 23, 5'2.5" and 219. I have an intital goal of 140-145 and will re-evaluate once I get there so that makes it about 75lbs I need to lose.
dlc- don't give up! I started in July and have lost only 6lbs since then, argh! Guess I am a slow loser.

I am so sorry to hear that you are sick. Rest and feel better, do not even worry about working out.
I created a board for our weigh-ins. Today is our first one. However, you can weigh in whenever since you are sick.

I would like to join. I am in a 12 week competition similar to Biggest Loser. I really need to step it up and have done well for three whole days...haha. I need exercise advice like what burns the most..and help from people in the same boat. I need to lose about 50 pounds!!!!!!!!

I am 25 years old and started on monday.
I am currently at 165 and and 5'2, I would love to go down to 110 for the summer.
I exercise 4 to 5 times a week, mainly in group classes doind weight lifting and cardio.
I am trying really hard not to snack at night, as this is my huge problem!
I have been gaining weight steadily in the past months and am really not happy about it.
I really hope this group can help me stay focused and motivated.
