Ok, I weighed myself yesterday, and was completely crushed. I weighed 230, last time I lost weight I was 164 at one point, I vowed to never get over 200 again. I need to do something. I need to get healthy. It will not be easy and I cannot do it alone. So,I would like to form a group of weight loss buddies. We can do weigh-ins on Wednesdays? and we can chat either through posts, or we can exchange screen names for aim or yahoo and meet once a week to vent.

I just found this today and would also like to join, although I have been home two days sick with the flu and didn't even bother to weigh myself this morning!

I am at about 215lbs. 5"7", 38 year old female and would like to get my weight down to about 155 and incorporate more regular exercise into my lifestyle.  I am very concerned about avoiding the health problems that my Mom and Grandparents are battling like knee problems, diabetes, heart and blood pressure issues.

I have been "going to" loose the weight for over a year now really, but I am finally I think ready!

I joined this site on Monday and don't know my way around too well....it's all new to me, except the stories I'm reading!  Way too familiar....

I am home sick as well, but hoping desperately to avoid flu!  I am older than most of you as well - 48; 192 was my 'horror show' so I have 60 lbs to lose from a 5'4" frame and I don't lose easily - some morale support would be great! How do I get in on this group?

This is a great group. I am 5'8, 170lbs, and would like to be 140 by my 25th bday in February as a present to me! Weigh-ins are good for me whenever. I know we can all do it!

How should we do weigh-in's or chat?

I'd love to join! i'm currently 5''7'ish (slighty taller i think) and weigh in at 174 and my goal is to be at most 155 by Christmas time but i would love to lose a little more than that! Wednesday weigh ins are fine with me and i can't wait to see everyone's progress!!

I'm in! I'm 5'6" and a whopping 218. :( 50 lbs sounds great, heck, even 20 lbs soudns AMAZING! I'm new to the whole group joining/weigh in thing. Can someone help me?

You can count me in. I'm 244 and need to drop 80 pounds. So I need all the motivation I can get!

I'm in!  Was down 20 bounds but a few injuries have me back up to 212 - I mean, I was under 200!  So frustrating.  Need to get back to basics and find alternative ways to move while I heal. 

Current weight:  212. 

Goal weight:  148.

Let's go!
