1 week, I lost 2.4 pounds!

Hello.!! I had gained 6 pounds in one week so I decided I needed a change in my diet. I was a big binge dieter. I would be really really strict on a 1200 calorie diet and then I would binge ever now and then--and the last time I did it , I gained 6 pounds. So I started searching the internet for solutions. I am really into eating healthy. Fish, chicken, vegtables, whole grain foods--so I wanted a lifestyle change that would fit with that. When I read about calorie count--I was a little bit in disbelief because I don't think I have ever eaten this many calories unless I binge. So this has been a huge adjustment for me to eat this many calories. So I told myself I would try it for a couple of weeks & see if it works. Welp, this is my first week and I am down 2.4 pounds. I'm really excited about this and for once I am going to do a lifestyle change that does not leave me hungry all the time. I feel full all the time and am satisfied. I don't have cravings & I really am motivated by reading everyone elses posts. YOu all motivate me & I believe that I can do it because you all are doing it! Welp I have 47.9 pounds to loose by June 2008-- and I truly believe I will make it. Good luck to you all!

Congratulations on choosing a healthier, saner way to lose weight! I happen to think that 1200 calories is just too few for those of us who are used to hard-core eating, if you know what I mean. Especially those with binging issues.

Keep up the good work - you'll see, it'll pay off! I'm down 37 lbs in about four months. :)
