alright, here we go again... another weight loss challenge!!! any takers?

we'll weigh in and give stats every friday!

Well, I only lost one pound but it's better than nothing I spose.  Hope everyone else did well!!!

this morning's weigh-in:  182 lbs.

ARGGGHHH, no change.  Okay, I was being casual before, but now this is WAR.

Goals for coming week:  walk to work 3 out of my 5 days;  work out at the office 4 out of my 5 days; and NO SPECIAL EVENT exceptions.

(Last week included the one-two punch of a harried weekend handling my infant & toddler alone while my husband was away on a biz trip, plus a surprise chance to go to the baseball game with FREE food at the ballpark.)

Anyway, to recap:

31 years old, 5'5"

April 25 - 182 lbs.

May 2 - 182 lbs.

So, my challenge today?  Friday nights are "margarita nights" in my husband's family -- we get together with his dad and brother and the brother's wife -- and I've been sensitive to their traditions lately since his mom died a few months ago.  My tentative plan for tonight's trial:  nurse one glass of red wine throughout the evening, resist the chips (how?), and order something sensible.  Of course, I haven't heard back from my babysitter yet, so maybe we won't be going out after all!

April 25 - Start: 200.0 lbs

May 2 - Week 1 result: 198.4 (goal 198.5)

Lol, what a way to hit the mark!  I was naughty with some late night snacking yesterday and failed to walk so I have some making up to do so this next week isn't hosed.  I'm usually fine until 9:00...maybe I need to get to sleep earlier!  So for this week I'm going to keep up the cardio at least every other day and make sure I get enough sleep!

May 9 - Week 2 result: (goal 197)

May 16 - Week 3 result: (goal 195.5)

May 23 - Week 4 result: (goal 194)

Hi all~

so zero lost this week.  but no gain either. I dont think that I will ever make my goal but its totally my own fault because I let myself cheat all the time. And didnt do my 150 min exercise goal this week either~only did 30 min. I was doing really well with the working out but the last 2 weeks I just have excuse after excuse. Any one have any suggestions????

I only have 2 weeks til graduation...there is no way I ll make my goal of 137...7 lbs in 2 weeks??? NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!  but ill take what I can get right?

Well...I'm holding steady between 139 and 140...uuugh.  I've only been exercising hard and heavy for a few days now so I'm hoping that in another week, I will really start to see the scale drop some. 

Makinitcount -- I know that everytime I want to cheat, I either look at a picture of myself in a bathing suit or just think about it (and how I felt last summer when I was 10 pounds lighter) and suddenly, I have a little extra willpower.  Or bett yet -- leave your bathing suit in the kitchen...hanging up like a hand towel next to the fridge...that always stops me!

Good job, y'all -- stick with it.

Ok so here is the weigh in stats for this week :) I did very well.  Lost 6lbs this week! (total of 13 since I started 2 weeks ago)

yipee! lost 2 pounds!!!

completed my goal of 6 hardcore 45 minute work outs this week and stayed food aware...i have not been counting cals religiously but i have been eating much less "just for fun" cals... instead am using food as fuel/nutrition...and have been really good about 8 cups of water or more per day.

next week: goal = 173

So I am hoping to see 133 by friday...I am doing well with my cals today even though I had a birthday party to attend...no cake and ice cream.

I am planning and logging my food for the week and feel that will help.

Was rainy and I was lazy over the weekend so I have some walking to make up.  Went out for Cinco de Mayo but didn't behave too badly.  So far still on track but probably should be more careful this next week in case it catches up with me!

Well, slow goin but it's goin so I guess I can't complain!  Mebbe better luck this week!

Dang it! I haven't lost a thing.  I suppose I should be grateful since I was away this weekend for a wedding and I certainly wasn't exercising or counting calories.  Just being lazy and enjoying my visit with my family. 

SW - 162;  CW - 162

sw-134 ( the beginning of the 4 weeks) and

cw- 133

I dont expect significant losses because I dont do significant strictness (i know i made that word up...lol)

so probably 133 will be it for me and my graduation next week...actually week from tomorrow, but that is ok.

being able to enjoy your week/weekend and not gaining is a very awesome thing and I do beleive slow wins this race...easier to keep off.  :p

I forgot to post and enter this on Friday, so I had to go back to my daily weight log and find out what it was.  I suppose losing 1/2 pound is better than staying exactly the same (or gaining).  My new goal for this week is to truly stay within my daily calorie goal.  That would be quite an accomplishment!  So far yesterday was the first time.  Herbal tea was my weapon to fight flavor cravings, and it's been helpful today at work as well.  We'll see if I can stick to my menu for this evening!!

 i was off line since the 2nd...so my may 9th check in = no change!

too much activity and temptation with inlaws visiting so no change in wt is actually a good thing. had i not kept up the workouts i am sure this would have been an increase in wt!!!

so REVISED goal by Friday May15 wt = 174!!!

Was nervous this week, wasn't too careful about eating and slacked off again in the excersize; but looks like I didn't go too overboard.  Next week will be the real test, I'll be in Vegas for work!
