Weekly Measuring!!

Quote  |  Reply

Okay fellow CC "losers"...

Join me for a weekly MEASURE IN! We are not going to worry about the scales in this forum because sometimes they can deceive us. Let's get out our measuring tapes and measure ourselves. I am going to measure myself every Sunday. I have broke it down into 8 groups. We are going to measure:

Neck

Chest

Stomach

Waist

Right Thigh

Left Thigh

Right Calf

Left Calf

You are to measure the most "meatiest part". I will start off with all my statistics. What the hell have I got to lose...I hope you all will join me. I am only going to post here on Sunday's though since I am in a couple of other groups and I have weekly weigh-in on those but I thought this is something a lot of people may be interested in doing with me! Thanks in advance everyone!

@kdh1221: Absolutely, let's add the arms everyone!

@lluva: Good idea about the hips didn't think about that. Probably because I look like a boy in that department. I have no butt and no hips...do you know how embarassing that is, especially in my family (LOL)

And thank all of you for having the courage to do this with me! I will see you back NEXT SUNDAY! Have a great week everyone!Laughing

firua and frogger,

How nice to meet you.  Welcome.

I measure once a month.  I can come back in after I get home with my November measures.

Friday I am heading to Hobby Lobby to buy a new measuring tape, because you should see the mess I made digging through boxes looking for the one I own...somewhere...

So, Friday I'll post :)

this thread can be especially helpful in weeks if it seems the scale just isnt moving much - because the numbers measuring do seem to change even then. Or so I have read :D

Okay fellow CC "LOSERS"

How was everyone's week? I see we have some new people on here and I would like to welcome them as well...

@Sammarieob: Did you get your tape measure yet? and normally, I measure nude. I don't want even the thinnest material to throw off the numbers. Tongue out

@Sunnim: your numbers are NOT scary, we are all here for one goal and we will get there by supporting each other and rallying behind one another!!!!

Okay, so here are my numbers for this week...and I did add the upper arms. For mine, I am not going to add the hips cause they are not my trouble area. (I wish I did have hips). *DRUM ROLL PLEASE*

Neck: 18.1 *it is just past the 18 mark*

Chest: 58

Stomach: 55

Waist: 46

Right Thigh: 25.75

Left Thigh: 26

Left Calf: 16

Right Calf: 16

Upper Right Arm: 15.5

Upper Left Arm: 16

I am currently down 4.8 lbs! I lost a bit in my neck and a bit in my legs...I can't wait until I start seeing results in the stomach and chest area!!!

YOUR TURN!

I will see you all back here next Sunday! I hope everyone has a GREAT week and great success on your lifestyle change!!

JMH

Just me,

What a great week!  congrats.

Ok, I began even bigger than these a couple weeks ago when I started really exercising:

11/7: Chest-- 53.75

waist: 54.5

hips: 61

11/15

Chest: 53

waist: 54

hips: 60.5

I can really see that I've lost inches already when I look at myself. It is slow, but I'll take it. Laughing
