Weekly Weigh-in 10/16/2011
If you are new to the 100lb+ group and weekly weigh-in posts, first of all WELCOME from all of us who have been here for a while. Of course, you are welcome to join us; in fact, we love new faces and spirits.
The weigh-ins work like this. Anyone can start the post so if Sunday morning you check in and no one has started this week's thread, feel free to launch it yourself. Just include a welcome and brief explanation like this one so that newcomers feel confident in adding their posts for the first time.
We start on Sunday and many of us weigh-in on Sunday but since we post throughout the week, you can really weigh-in when ever you like. And if you don't want to weigh in weekly or even bi-weekly that is okay too. Just tell us what you have been up to or struggling with or having success with.
The lingo...Most of us use SW for starting weight, LW for last week's weight or lowest weight, and CW for current weight. Some of us list our challenges last week and our goals for this week. Some people set a goal for next week's weigh in - NWGW, some set a short terms STGW (like the next 20lbs or to break the 200lbs mark) and others set a LTGW or a final goal weight. Share whatever you are comfortable sharing.

Great week. Didn't do a lot of exercise but we were cleaning out the yard and putting a new floor in the dinning room. So I guess that counts as exercise.
Hope you had a great week

Not a good week even though I lost a pound. Sunday was my bday and I had people feeding me too much. Yes I could say no, but the southern lady in me has a really hard time saying not to anything that someone has done particularly for me. Today is a new day. One new thing I did was Turbo Kick. It kicked my but for sure.
Hi Sara,
Do you go to the Activity screen? Back Yard work is alot of calories burned!! Congrats on the weight loss.

Thank you. :)
I just hope that it continues like this, without any major plateaus (fingers crossed)

Made a great Chicken Soup with veggies this weekend. Used the recipie builder on CC to figure the per serving calorie levels. When I saw I could have 3 bowls and stay around 1500 cals for the day - I was thrilled!
Unfortunately - I overlooked the sodium content, and have put on 1.5 pounds in water weight over 2 days! However - thanks to using this site, I can see how my weight fluctuations have worked, how the overall trend is steadily downwards, and unlike in the past - no need to freak out!
My challenge will be next week when I go away for an 8 day business trip to Florida for a trade show. That will be a challenging week for sure, but not my first time away for business while on this journey to good health.
Keep up the good work everyone!

Doing the happy dance for another week of progress!
Did not do so well this past week, I've had a calorie deficit every day (-5400 for the week), yet gained .2 pounds. Don't know what that is about. Maybe getting my period or water retention? Hope it comes off next week!

I *think* I’m finally feeling a difference. I can’t see anything yet, but all week it’s felt like my jeans are fitting a little looser. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t, but either way it’s keeping me motivated and on track. :) I had a small pitfall Monday (almost went into full binge mode after dinner), but I rectified it and got back on track (and somehow only went over about 20 cal for the day). :)
Here’s to reaching our goals!
Hi everybody. It has been some time since ive been on here i guess i just lost my urge idk the thought to do something has been on my mind but went thru many personal problems in the last year and just sort of lost touch with my goals. my husband beat my daughter pretty badly and so i left him and have been on a roller coaster for the last year trying to get on my feet.I am finally back on my feet now and i have a wonderful loving bf who gives me all the support in the worl. I went to the doctor a week ago and insisted they put me on diet pills and i also started a 1200 calorie diet. I weighed in at 638 pounds at that time. I know if i dont get motivated i will die. im 33 yrs old and i feel like im 90. So I started the diet pills and im doing well counting calories now.
Yesterday i was weighed and i weighed 630 pounds woohoo, thats a 8 pound weight loss this past week.
I am very excited about this weight loss altho I have so far to go. I have set up to meet with a trainer tomorrow at anytime fitness because if i can lose 8 pounds just taking diet pills and counting calories what can i do when i add in exercise.
I am very excited about the future but i do not have a goal weight .well yeah i guess i do, I would like to lose 30 pounds by Christmas if not more. I should be able to with the assisatnce of the diet pills and working with the trainer. I also go to the dietian on wednesday. So i have several plans to organize a support in my life and I need you guys as well.I am surprised you still have me in this group as its been a very long time since I did anything here.I thankyou for me still being here and I hope you will continue to support me cause I know without support I am going to die.
Welcome back. You've been through some hard times, and I'm glad to know things are better for you. If you need anything, we're here for you. And I know you can meet your goals with the right ambition, and with the help of the group.
