34 Weeks along & new to the group!
1. History with weight loss: I've always been a little chubby - and it's gotten a lot more since I got married in the last 2 years! Now I'm 8.5 mos pregnant, have gained 20lbs and and really ready to start gearing up for a major weight loss after little one comes. I was on a great path before I got pregnant, but I've taken a little break and almost totally stopped paying heavy attention to what I eat and do. Still taking care of my body and baby but not counting calories or steps :).
2. History with Calorie Count:
I've been on here for probably over a year or so - before October, when I found out I was pregnant, I was on here probably - 3 or 4 times a day entering info, getting info, etc.... and now I've taken a break because of baby and have just been focussing on eating healthy foods - but still enough for my babe.
3. Reason for joining this group:
Would love to meet some other young, new moms/wives - as most of my friends (well, all except for one!) aren't married/dating and have no kids! So it's a little hard to do the whole "getting back in shape after getting married or baby" thing with them!
4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests:
Well, I'm due with our first baby in 6 weeks. (Either Jakob or Zoe!). I'm 22, and live on the west coast! I work in healthcare, although, I slipped a disk on my back and have been off from that career path for 6 months now. I'm also, mainly, a singer and teach voice lessons in my home & a little kids choir at the local rec. center. I love warm weather, music, spa days & travelling to new cities. My favourite thing is spending a weekend in a new city with my husband- having lunch at an outdoor cafe, going to a new spa for a pedicure & exploring a cute park or shopping on a new street. I'm definately a west-coaster though -I love the sun, my family, dog & cat, health and relaxation!
